New Jersey Governor McGreevey resigns due to having an affair with another man!

Yep i watched it live on tv today and it blew my mind as his wife stood right next to him as he resigned from office because he was cheating on his wife and 2 kids with another man!!!

We went from being the Yo fuck YOu tough guy state, to what now....? Geezus we are going to get slammed on the late night shows tonight, oh Boy

I feel for his wife and 2 kids

Well I think it would have been just as bad if he was having an affair with a woman as well. He really has some other issues to deal with like fund raising questions, etc. This takes the light off of that temporarily. So I take it he is going to get help?

I agree with ya mmx and disagree

I think yes it is the same problem for the stae whether it is a man or women he had an affair with, meaning that shouldnt matter to his constituants and what not but to his family and his kids, I think it makes a huge difference that it was a man he cheated on his family with ya know, I am sure you prolly feel the same way, maybe? but ur right it shouldnt matter to the state its self one way or another, but it is quite odd if i say so myself,lol

Well I can see your point and its well taken. The question is would he have said it publicly if it had been a woman?
I do feel for the wife and kids though- its got to bed hard. Plus the guy was going to blackmale him for a ton of money. Sad , really. If he didn't piss his constituents off with the legislation he has passed, then for sure he alienated them now.

He probably knew all along but knew it would be political suicide if he came out w/ it sooner!!! There is no way he would have made it to the Governors mansion if people knew that before hand... I don't see why it matters b/c he was doing a hell of a job while he was there!!!
