I woke up this morning and my only tought was to go back to bed,i couldent wake up,so i decided to take a nice cold shower,i got in the shower, but no matter how much i decreased the hot water it was still damn hot,i tought that maybe there was something wrong with the thermostat of the water-heater so i got out of the shower soaking wet and naked and i runned to the water-heater that is in another room inside a wall closet, and as soon as i touched the thermostat...BAM 220 volts,,thanks god i was able to take off my hands, but it was such a shock that i was suddendly awake and ready to go no need for a shower, coffe or an eca,the only side effect was a strange sensation on both of my forearms(like if somebody was sticking me with pins)and that i allmost shitted my pants(because i got really scared).
I know in the states insthead of 220 you have got only 110 volts, but follow my advice before hitting the gym try to ellectrocute yourself it will work

Actually here in the states our water heaters are 220 also.If you want a real wake up call find some 277 and try that out,LOL.Worked in commercial wiring for 3 and a half years and 277 really fokin hurts.

I think UR lucky you weren't grounded well or you didn't use two hands. That IS enough to kill you if it goes through you the right way.

actually i was grounded quite well, because i was barefoot and also completly wet,i have a lifesaving device at home that is supposed to stop eletricity if an overcharge happens, but it didn't went off,i think i took my hands off fast enough, but i got quite a shock,my whole body was trembling for a few seconds and i got a burning and hitching feeling on both my arms, also my right arm was numb all the way to the shoulders for a while, and i got really really scared,my heart was racing for a while, but it did wake me up indeed:rolleyes:
