I got a resource to get some antibiotics, thought I might keep them on hand incase, I know Augmenten (sp?) is one that is used, but what about others...is good old penicillan the right stuff too?Just curious.

thanks

Amoxicillin and Penicillin are OK as far as I know and I should know. Actually I should check, but they should be OK.

sirben187, is right a broad spectrum like azithromycin (Zithromax) is good but can be hard on your kidneys, so if you taking something that's already taxing your kidneys you might want to opt for something else. Plus Z-Pack, Zithromax, Azithromycin, ect.
is very expensive

Renal Insufficiency
varying degrees of renal impairment. Following the oral administration of a single 1,000 mg dose
of azithromycin, mean with mild to moderate renal impairment compared to subjects with
normal renal function The mean Cmax and AUC0-120 increased 61% and 35%,
respectively in subjects with severe renal impairment with normal renal function.

Cipro, ampicillin, and cephlex (cephalaxin).
OTH I have been using Olive leaf extract for 5 months and have not been sick once..
I work with kids who go through 1 illnesss after another plus I am an insulin dependant diabetic who was every couple of weeks getting injection site infections. Not had a problem since the extract.

Cephalexin (keflex) is the best antibiotic used for skin related infections. If you can get this drug, take a 500mg capsule 4 times a day for 5 days and it should knock out the infection quite easy. Side effects may include: an upset stomach or diarrhea. An allergec reaction would show up as: rash or itching, wheezing or shortness of breath,an upset stomach is NOT an allergy. If you get the liquid form you should shake well and store it in the refrigerater. If you have any other q/a's just ask.

ColdHeartBear....

care to share any ideas about dosing guidelines for that olive leaf extract ?? and if the answer is just read the bottle then just reply with the word 'duh'... but in my experience recommended dosing on most packaging is way to conservative or intended for a 150 pound person.

thanks

Mouse,
I am one cheap creep. I buy the powder and cap my own (00 caps). I take 3 caps early morn and when I get off work. If I feel in any way that some thing isn't right I add another dose at bedtime.
As to weight I am over 350 lbs but I do not believe the dosage is affected that much by mass. The recommended dose is 3 grams divided by 3 doses which I exceed by 2x+ on my 3 dose days.
