I highly recomend this movie to anyone. An eye opening expirence to how the world of fast food has effected Not only America, but the world.

I've had a few people tell me that it really shows how bad their food is for you.

But honestly, who the hell didn't know that stuff before the movie came out?

Presser - It's on DVD, The Cover Has a guys face stuffed with McDonalds French Fries (Enough to fill a Supersize I think).

Great documentary about a healthy male who ate McDonalds for 30 days, three meals a day. He did not exercise or take anything else. Get this:

25 lb weight gain
Liver values went up 10X
Blood Pressure Up 30 points
Cholestorol up 60 points

It took 8 weeks on a strict vegan diet for him to get down to healthy levels and 12 months to lose the weight. He consumed 30 lbs of sugar and 12 lbs of fat in one month. It is showing in most movie theatres. Amazing.

the doctors told him to stop on day 21 because he was developing jaundice. Crazy, just off food

Wow, I want to see that movie. I have also heard a lot about it. It's in the dollar theaters now where I live.

the part of the guy eating is only a small part of it...it shows how the obesity in America is directly linked to the growth of fast food - the amount of resturants, the marketing, the size of the servings...children could not recognize pictures of Jesus christ, or George Washington, but quickly recognized Ronald Mcdonald. It even goes as far as going into the diet of america..school systems etc....it's mind boggleing.Gotta watch the outtakes too. After this movie came out at the Caan film festival, Mcdonalds discontinued the "super size" portions.

I agree, Willieman, it really truly is mind boggling. My wife and I can go to Walmart on any given day, and probably more than 50% of the people we see are either obese or have a gut of some kind. In fact, it's downright scary!

My wife told me of a lady at her workplace that is so fat that after coming up a short flight of stairs the lady is wheezing and breathing really hard. She was afraid this lady was going to have a coronary right there.

I know what you are talking about I was working part time for some extra money at a movie rental place the manager was a lard ass he weighed in over 400lbs when he would walk from the back office he would breath so hard I thought he would die right there ! it was sick

in the walmart where I live they have a MacDonalds inside and it always is packed with over weight ppl getting their fat fix

What I don't like is those calorically challenged people have those electric carts. They are rude and think they own the territory. And yes these same people are in the McDonalds... Sad....

The movie really does change your mind about the frivolous lawsuit theories as well. I am a firm believer in the fact that people need to be disciplined and not eat the shit...but the movie stresses the point that McDonalds has a goal of getting you to eat thier food at every meal, that is obviously true....it's corporate america....they want your money. This shit is truly bad for you....this guy felt like shit....stunk like shit (seriously!!) had no energy and was depressed by the end of his thirty days. Their are no long term studies yet to truly show the effect that the McD's had on him...thats scary.....but about the law...if they know this shit is truly that bad for you then are they really contributing to the fall of our country? I sorta think they are......The "healthy" salads that they have.....yeah, have as much sugar as the ice cream.....crazy isn't it!

yeah its amazing how they attack the children....then the big kids....then the really big kids...us! They have happy meals, mighty kid meals, and the goddamn big mac....mmmm i love it! I am the most conservative person you know but this all strikes me as wrong.....they're just kids....kids that are being targeted by very witty marketing campaigns. Thats why nearly 1 in every 4 children in america are fat........thats rediculous!

Needless to say i haven't eaten at McD's since.......but had wendy's yesterday!!!!!! Just a chicken sandwhich though!

I like the part were the guy was talking about people bitching at people who smoke cigarettes because it bad for you health, and bad for the environment etc...and then draw the sinilarities between overweight people, why not bitch at them too, it's not healthy, it creates a rise in the insurance and medical rates...basically on the same kind of path, but being overweight is more socialably acceptable.

What do yall think about eating fast food to try to gain weight while bulking on gear, hiting the iron doing cardio and all that good idea or bad?

i don't know buddy.....its a happy-medium situation....i think it would be okay but your a pretty active guy....McD's for everyone else is deadly......look like Ruben Studder

cough...I had a Mcgriddle, and hash browns today...cough.., I drop weight if I don't eat some high calorie/fat food once in a while...

Watch the extras on the dvd called the "the smoking fry". Fucking hilarious.

LMAO...Hell Yeah...they take every sanwich from the menu as well as the fries and put them in a glass container. They also take a homemade burger and homemade fries and put them in glass containers as well.....as the weeks go on...the sandwiches begin to mold and break down, BUT after 10 weeks....the McDonals fries NEVER mold or break down....SCARY AS HELL!
