i am so pissed off right now. saturday night my car got broken into and they fuckers took my cd player and digital camera. i called my insurance company, and i have a 250.00 deductable for just the cd player. the digital camera is not covered apparently. so now i have to go through my house insurance and see if they'll cover it. that's another 250.00 deductable. fuckin' punks!

That sucks. About 3 yrs ago someone broke out a window in my car and stole about $1000 of stuff. It's a pain. Worst thing is, there isn't much you can do.

hey bro, the dash panel itself is part of the car so add that in, the wires can fry things add that in, also the window w/glass breakage coverage or not add that.
Total it up and then add the cd player face value, remember its worth 40% on the street. then you have thye money for a new one.
renters insurance or homeowners insurance will raise w/small claims like that.

auto if they do not cover it, discontinue your coverage with them and find someone who will cover your posessions that are PART of the vehicle, if you sell it with no radio it goes down in value so its part of the vehicle.

I went through this when my Truck was parked outside in broad daylight to get an alarm installed they broke the window and took my shit.

I scoured the pawn shops too w/my receipt and searched for it, 2 months later i found it at a pawn shop, they went and arrested the guy, he paid for all my shit, but the insurance company had to pay since its part of the car, tell them you bought it with it!

the hardest thing is not being able to do anything about it. in life if someone screws with you to your face at least you can do something about it. it's like what fucking rigt do you have to take my shit. plus, whoever took it now has the pics on my digital camera that i haven't erased...and some of them i would rather other people didn't see!

i'm totally going to be stopping into the pawn shops and calling other local ones just to be sure. i would love to just settle this between me and him/them without any cops getting involved!
