protien bars and shakes = killer farts

wow man been eating 1 nitro tech protien bar and 2 shakes man i cant stop farting everywhere i go booop booop blippp. how long does it take to stop and why do the guys knock shake and bars for protien are they not a good source of protien ? thanks
 
No the glycerol in them can and usally does cause that so it prob wont go away.

The reason why I say not to rely on them is b/c they are easily broken down (40-45 minutes approx) and a solid take your body
(approx 90-100min). You want your body continuously working to fuel the furnace. It you have down times your body will slow down and I dont want that.

Also, you dont want to solely rely on them cause your body will have a difficult time breaking down solids if all you eat is liquids.

You also want your body to get protein from as mnay different sources as possible, steak, salmon, chicken, eggs, incomplete proteins from veggies for optimal growth.
 
would it be better if i ate half of my bar then waited and had the other half later also i've been eating tons of tuna for lunch its kind of hard eating anything else im always on the run. any suggestions?
 
Yeah, make your food the night before. Thats what alot of us have to do.

Personally i eat 7 meals and 6 of them are solid. I would try to eat chicken, salmon, tuna, eggs and other meats for your protein content.

I just woudlnt rely on bars and shakes to get your dialy intake for your body.

Why dont you post your diet so we all can look at it and try to help ya out.
 
Every sunday I'll grill up two boxes of Chicken and throw them in the fridge for the week. While I'm eating breakfast, I'll mix up tuna and salsa for the day and stick that in the fridge too. I down a protein shake throughout the day and sometimes eat a protein bar. You just have to find a way that works for you.

well in the morning i have 3boiled eggs and a shake around 10:30 i have a tuna on wheat 12:30 another tuna on wheat and some fruit 3-4:00 i have creatine pre-load workout then a protien bar then about a hour later i have dinner which is rice and beans with some veg and some type of meat then i have a shake b4 bed. (alternate tuna sandwhich or turkey for lunch) DAMN I NEED HELP LOL!!!!!!
 
What i do since i am always on the run except on weekends is this. I cook around 14lbs fo chicken during sunday. I also cook a ton of broccollli and green beans. AFter I get dont cooking them i put them in containers and place them in the fridge. Since i'm in school and work 2 jobs i take large soft cooler with me and take my food with me everywhere i go. That way i can eat my meals whenever.
