MC Hockey Players

Now this is not what i expected but since you brought it up.....hells yeah...lots of ice time here since the seasons not happening we have open hockey durring all of the scheduled practice time that are now canceled...just wish the joints still worked like they used to.
I'de like to see more responses to this post....no cup in 2005 and its gonna suck!
I know there have to be more skaters here than just the three of us. Just bought enw one piece... gettin tired of snapping sticks like twigs.
Good thing is that if i miss the gym i end up picking up games with the mens league....hockey is still growing in Nashville two rinks with a total of four sheets of ice and about 350 - 450 players between the two leagues in the older age group (30 - 45yo)
good thread to start bro!:D

I used a Synergy for about 2 years and just made the switch to the new Bauer Vapor XX. I'm still hoping for a 42 game NHL season.

I just bought a pair of TPS response...i tried the synergy and wasn't happy...i gotta start figuring out a cheaper way to go...this sport is cutting into my stash money lol. I'm getting sick of the whole negotiation idea...if the owners win out then they reap the extra money saved by having a salary cap and if the players win out then the teams with the most money can keep on being power houses. I quit being a wings fan when i movedf to Nashville and they startd their team....i guess if we dont have a season then next year they'll start using the areanas for a NASCAR sponserd Zaomboni race season. I just wnat to offer all of the puck bunnies a chance to come and pick up
%$@^%...oops, i meant pucks under the sheets.
I actually started a collegiate club team at one of the major universities in middle tennessee...its five times as big as teh NCAA hockey with skaters skill levels in the Division I being just as good as NCAA. I had to quit coaching cause of scheduling conflicts...i regret having to stop.

A Chuck, did you play on any of teh leagues in boston or in the area....one of the guys on our coaching staff used to coach up there....

^^^^
'bout the same here mostly mens a and b leagues...we get a couple of the preds that come out durring the off season when they dont go back home to czek rep. who skatre with us for fun...these new kids are damn good i tell ya'. For a bunch of old farts we keep 'em pushing it up and down the ice but they can take us any time they want. We have a couple of former pro russian skaters who are amongst the "old fart" ranks that are on our team ...they kinda even the game out against the younger kids.

if any one is interested in the cbaollective bargaining agreement) site for the nhl here is a link...i had heard that there might be some discussion on thursday about more or new negotiations but i couldn't confirm the rumor. Damn i'm missin my hockey night....i bet lebatts is really suffering with the loss in advertisement air time...

Dear NHL Fan,

The NHL and the NHLPA have concluded their meeting in Toronto,
at which the Union made a new offer. Commissioner Gary Bettman
said in a statement that the League will fully review the proposal
and intends to make a counter-offer when the sides meet again Tuesday.

Salary Cap? No way: players
(December 13, 2004)
We asked more than 100 NHL players whether they would accept a salary cap to save the season. Their answers confirm the NHLPA is primed for a drawn-out dogfight with Gary Bettman & Co.

Owners can take their cap and shove it. Man, they have some nerve coming back here time and time again, cap in hand. If they keep it up, we’re just going to have to kick the cap out of them.

OK, boys, we get the picture.

it would make more sense to just accept the players proposal for a temporary fix...otherwise the NHL might ned up taking a major loss for the next ten yrs while they try and rebuiild a whole new league....imagine how much their losing right now not having a season....screw this...i'm gonna go hit the ice tonight and get out some frustrations....i could use a night off from my workout anyways.
