Sad loss...

Last month a close friend and fellow indulger, gym rat and great bro to have behind you in the gym as well as on the sand, was arrested for possesion w/ intent, sales x 3 and trafficking. The sad part of the story is how he came to be arrested...he was set up as part of a sting opperation focussing on our gym by some one who he had "helped out" on several occasions. It wasn't the fact that he had helped this BB out but that he had been helping him with conversions and even site injections...what a way to repay some one by setting them up. This Rat had befriended all of us at the gym and been cycling on and off with us for the psat year. I waited until now to post this but we just found out yesterday after filing for discovery all of the states evidence. My friend wasn't a source but he was a damn good bro and still is...he has kids and a family and with the way govt works he runs the risk of losing his rights to his kids. He always tried to help some one new and less eperienced than himself out and if you gained his trust then he went above and beyond the call of duty to help...He was the reason i never "rang out" durring the hardest struggle of my life. I'm posting this out of respect and a warning to all...trust in no one unless you would lay your life down for them and know beyond any doubt that they would do the same for you. What happens at sea stays at sea and thats the same philosophy i follow in everything else. I wish more people would have done the same. ...Hoo Yah to a survivor and keep this bro in your thoughts he can beat this but it will not be an easy battle.

I don't know that even those who would risk their lives for you at some point can be trusted indefinitely. I was a member of a group (me being the outsider) who got caught up in a life or death situation. We made it. But one of the members of the squad snitched out most of the rest of his squad over next 2 years for various things.The only thing that saved me was I was only there that 1 day and was only temporarily attached to that squad. The spec I corresponded with after the original incident is in Ft. Leavonworth now. My last communication with him was 11 years ago but he basically told me he trusted the guy with everything. He said the punk would be the guy all would tell their problems too. Our joint crime,,,,,we took battlefield souvineers adn smuggled them home. Most of the crimes prosecuted were drug related or smuggling. In my correspondant's case it was 32 counts of smuggling non drug contraband of which he was convicted of 14 counts. And no, I got rid of all physical evidence 15 years ago.

true wheelz, he is a grown man...but to get set up by some one who was hitting the same stuff as you were and who was asking you to load and push his pins for him is just plain wrong...if he had hooked some random Waldo off of the streets up then i could understand and so could all of us. We make the decisions that wiol change the rst of our lives but there is a point that no one should cross. We know that he takes responsability for his own actions and are to face up to it...but on the same note, He's a real man (my bro), and wont be bringing any one else down just to save his own hide.

i feel sorry for his children and wife. how old are his kids? like everyone else said, that just gives me all the more reason to only trust maybe 2 guys i know through the boards.

Oh I know and Ive been locked up before for a long time, too long, and I know what he's facing and how hard it is. I truly feel bad but I know when I give my number to a friend(and give them advice or hook em up) or they give me theres that Im making a friendship that revolves around something thats a little sketchy, I know what will happen if they snitch on me but I make it clear to them that if they get me they will have a bad man for an enemy!!! You must know what youre dealing with in this game, be smart and dont let your guard down, he did and now he has to pay for it, and for that Im sorry!!!

His situation is not any different....we're helping him as much as we can...his oldest son is 19 from first marriage...he is into BB and has hoopes of compeating....he's helping his step mom and me keep up with the other two youngens....financially they are sound and thank God for that....I've given him the use of an attourney which I keep on retainer for my company and cost are being kept to a minimal...We'll see what happens....he will be getting out on a 50,000 bond...he wanted to wait and see what discover would reveal...He'll be back at home this week...we'll start working on his defense from there....we'll see what happens. He will survive.

Lot of this type of stuff is going around. I dont want to say the sky is falling, just be careful. This is what happend 10 years ago... Everyone I knew was on roids......Next thing I knew gyms where being hit everywhere.....

been kinda absent this week from the boards....we've been in Memphis putting together my bros case. I had my nephew come down if any one hadn't noticed and he's been a big help trying to get things worked out. financially things couldn't be better and as for the case all i can say is buy the book Legal Muscle or borrow it fomr some opne who has it...lots of help full info here. The case will be bound over to grand jury and after filing for a continuence his next date will be in six months....the gym is standing behind him...and believe it or not so are the law enforcement guys who work out at the gym....yes we have allies in law enforcement some of whom are juicin'. Every one agrees that what happened was bogus and it can be beat. Just wanted to give you guys an update fopr those of you who know what its like.
