Thank you again for the advice, and once again I am sorry abuot my first post! To explain, I meant that I was taking 5000 calories WITH shakes, not just eating. I have a mixture called russian bear that has 5000 calories per shake (which also takes about a galon of water to dilute), so it takes me all day to drink ONE shake. Post cardio I should be doing something, but dont have the room to take anymore food or shakes. The human stomach is only so big! My goal is to weight 185 standing at 6'1" or 6'0" whichever I am! After last nights weigh in I feel its a big struggle. I weighed in last night at 172 which is about 6 lbs lighter than usual becasue of the intense boxing program I am in. I do not want 10 lbs of fat to my body, rather 10 lbs of lean mass, and affter reading last night, I see its usually a 50/50 split between water weight and lean mass. Meaning for every 20 lbs of water weight you put on you can weight train to turn it into lean mass with the right diets and exercise. It is very hard to put it on for me. The cardio in a boxing program takes it all away. I walk into the gym dry and walk out soaking wet! I also drink about 6-8 cups of water a day to sustain the hydration level in my body. I mean with all the shakes and everything else I dont want to stand over the toilet looking good! Let me know any suggestions. I dont know if anyone else here has this problem with putting on weight or not. If you do please respond, feel free to email me too! Thanks again IRISHPRIDE AND ZYLO AND WHEELZ! I appreciate you not jumping on me anymore.

5000 cal shake!!! Look bro you can handel the food because I eat 7 times a day and anyone who wants to pack on the muscle has got to eat because drugs or supplments or what ever wont do a damn thing and to many people dont see that and keep looking like crap and wasteing time...you dont eat you wont grow and cut the shakes out man thats the problem you need food not shakes.....Also you are doing a shit load of cardio so think about it if you are only taking in shakes and having a high intesnse boxing program then your not going to gain anything. You need to up your food intake(cals) by hell of a lot because your burning the cals up form boxing and again cut the shakes out...bottom line you need to eat.....You dont eat you will not grow. Find your self a nutritionist in your area one who is has a good rep.... Use him because he will be able to come up with right diet and plan for your specific needs..... To many guys waste time and still dont make any gains and try everything in the book that they see others do except for eating........That money you invest in the nutritionist will be worth Gold its self because of the knowledge you will obtain and carry for the rest of your life and instead of wasteing time and not going anywhere and struggleing it can all be taken care of with a good nutritionist.

Search around for sample diets and then come up with one for yourself and post it up here and we'll help you with it bro'

Aim for:

6 Meals
At least one protein source per meal
Healthy Fats like All Natural Peanut Butter or Olive Oil
Make sure you get lots of water
Add in some good veggies
Eat good Carbs like Whole Oats
If you like bread and have to eat it, Eat Whol Grain Bread
Cut out foods very high in sugar like cereal, fruit juices etc..
Cottage Cheese is great :)
Taking a protein shake or two is a great idea, just make sure it's not the ONLY thing you're taking for protein/food.

Do some research on good diets and post it up.

Water weight doesn't turn into muscle. It's just when your body retains more water. Taking things like creatine or certain steroids like Dbol will make you retain more water. I don't usually worry about it to much because I don't compete and I still feel like I'm just starting out in weight lifting.

As an example....
What they mean is, if you were taking creatine for 2 months, and you gained 6 pounds, 3 of them might be water weight. So when you stop taking creatine, you might drop 3 pounds (But it's just water) and keep 2-3 of muscle.
