how many guys really walk the talk ? do you guys eat and train the right way becuase ive been to a couple of gyms and to be honest 85% of people just train. also i gotta give thanks to this forum becuase you learn alot here you'll be surprised to see how many guys at my gym juice up for yrs i'm talking the older so called experienced guys and know jack shyt about gear. then theres the guys that have trained for yrs and yrs and still look the same damn how the fu@k do they stay motivated! the funniest is this guy i know that everyone knows as a juice head so hes the type that blows up than shrinks so one day were chatting so i asked were does he get his nolvadex and clomid and he says what the hell is that man i almost ran out of the gym mind you hes been gearing up for atleast 10 plus yrs wow.....

I've noticed the same thing at my gym as well. The main thing I noticed is that a lot of the juicers abuse the gear. There are a select few who cycle the way they should. It shows as well. There is guy at my gym who is constently on the juice and rarely comes off. His acne is terrible, he looks like a marshmellow, and his strength has not went up in 3 years. I don't get it. I look at people like this as a learning tool. Hell, I love it when someone comes up and says "you should try this, this is what I do" These are the same people who have 10% more BF and lift less than I do. I say to myself, "yea, I should try that....are you fucking kidding me?"

I feel you on that one bro. I'll be honest, I don't always cut my carbs at 6:00pm. I don't do my abs twice a week either. Is that what you mean?

Hey, we are on the same page with the carbs and abs. I am fortunate enough that my metabolism is high and I don't have to worry about % high body fat. I am talking about the people who are taking in excess of 1000-1400mg of test/week, have the "bloat gut" on a 215-230 lbs frame and smoke 1-2 packs a day. I am by far a health nut and I have to have my carbs all day. I just feel if one is going to take high dosages, just do it the right way and make the highest optimal gains possible.

I don't know who said it or where it's from, but this quote seems appropriate:

"Do as I say, Not as I do"

;)

I try to stay as clean as I can with my diet and hit the gym on a regular basis. I'm pretty consistent and get to the gym 4 times a week and manage to get in some cardio and eat pretty clean. I could strap down a bit more though.

I practice what I preach. I firmly believe my signature. And ask IP, I am a health freak when it comes to foods and vitamins/minerals, EFA's, supp's, sleep, water, etc.

good stuff guys this is therapy... once in awile agreeing and sharing instead of preaching and arguing..

he is...if i listened more to him i would der be alot bigger LOL..

The guys or gals that are paying attention to Everythinbg they do are going to make the gains. I have seen a lot of people spend a lot of cash on legal and illegal supplements that are wasting their time and money because they don't eat right, train right or get enough rest. You won't make gains if everything is not in balance.

I dont train anymore(injured) and therefore(even though I should, especially since Im injured)I dont eat correctly. When Im in the on season I eat perfect, I had no cheat days in the previous 30 week bulker I did!!! No chocolate, sugar, bleached food, and very little processed food. I also never miss my vitamins and I drink 1.5 gallons of water a day all year!!! stats were 215 at 11%bf pre injury-wheelz

bump, very good point, a lot of people do this, I also notice a trend in older people, they get worse in there form as age progresses, who knows why, anyway, concentrate on form or you are wasting your time-wheelz

One of the great things about this sport is that you can train and live the way you want to and need to according not only to your goals, but what works best for you...it's being intune with what works, wrapped around your lifestyle and needs.

peace

What gets me is that so many guys talk about how safely you can use AAS (which I agree) then you see them getting busted for recreational drugs. I really don't believe the two mix. I've even seen it from guys on the board.

definately stating the obvious here, and those of us in this community know that, the only thing keeping us and drug addicts in the same category is the media, sometimes i break the tv when I see some of the dumb specials on AAS use. Like when the mother of a seventeen yr old AAS user told 20/20 that when he got used to the dosage, he then began injecting into the vein for a "bigger rush", I broke my dogs neck on accident right after i heard that-wheelz

Exactly true.....The President and Media are the reason AAS is classified where they are. Lack of education is the true root of all evil. If people would just do some research and listen to the pro's I think the whole legality issue would go away. I have never read the warning label on gear but I'm sure it doesn't cause drowzness and say NOT to operate heavy machines. In fact it should say just the opposite..... move heavy machines out of your way if necessary ( over and over).
As for me , I'm still new to this and just learning. I have been working out for approx six months steadily and notice great gains. I started again because of my job as a professional firefighter and the fact that I'm now 36. I also want to see just how big I can get.... any suggestions ? will take all into consideration.

as for the origional question.....Yes you have to live the lifestyle to get the most out of it... including diet and proper use of gear
