you grow when sleeping...you dont grow in the gym you grow outside it...
simply put.....i have to agree. Get at least 6 - 8 hrs of sleep daily. The body needs that down time to replenish and grow new cells.

THe body needs 8+ hours of sleep since you are not in REM for the entire time (deep sleep). I would say at least 6 hours with a very large nap in there to since schedules are soooooo hetic.

SLEEP is VERY IMPORTANT, its as important as eating IMHO.

Sleep Is THE most important factor in muscle growth, without the proper amount of sleep u won't grow no matter what u eat or what inject yourself with, nuff said. I normally get 7 hours and have a nap when i get home from work.

sleep is also the biggest time of the bodie GH release...somewhere around the first 2 hours.
And just like everyone has stated...sleep is a very important factor.

Sleep is compared to none when it comes to recovery, new cell growth, hormone release, and many other factors, so get 6-8hrs and you are good to go, if you get time in day take a power nap of 20-45minutes...Helps too IMHO...

I usually go to bed around 12 and sleep until 11 or 12 the next day. My boyfriend always asks how i sleep so much and my dad always knocks on my door and asks if im alive or if i have died in my sleep. I do love my nap times !!!

Tell that to my boss! Everytime I doze off she tells me to wake my ass up and do something productive...

You just send her my way, lol. You r, your letting your body rebuild itself which it always needs to do when u lift.

you gotta be careful sleeping too much aswell though. if you sleep longer than around 9 or 10 hours you disturb your sleeping cycle. Oversleeping can be just as bad as not enough sleep IMO.
