I was just watching the news and am realizing the devestation. As of right now the death toll is 80,000 and officials are expecting the totals to go well over 100,000 before it all over. Imagine, that for most of us who live in small towns outside of major cities 100,000 is more than the local population. Sad to have to come to grips with the fact that we are not in control. itis also estimated that 50 million people run the risk of infection due to contaminated wter supplies and spreading diseases due to the catastrophie. In the end this is so much mroe traumatic than what we experienced here as far as losses go only in the loss of life. Of sygnificant interest is the fact that there were many tourist from other countries including the US who are missing and or reported dead. Every one should remember those who are suffering losses due to this natural disaster.
Such a tragedy something most of us could never imagine happening ever.
