I was thinking of giving IGF a try. I realize that you should wait till your growth plates have closed and you have fully matured but how do I know when that is. I've been the same height since 8th grade (I'm now in college) and I have had a beard since i was a 6th grader, no joke. I have always matured faster than kids my age. So I wanted to know what you guys thought? Should I try it or no?

good question mmx2 alot of people don't have goals as what they need from a particular supplement..and if some have goals they expect it to be short term, like get huge quick, or trying to do the impossible, in short term goals...You can change the short term in Long term goals and it can happen and most people don't have the patience for that, and that's why there is alot of AAS abuse of other helpful supplements..first they have to get their long term goals together, plan out a diet routine, plan a workout routine, fitness goals, and so forth...It's not the supplement that is going to make you freaky huge or a monster, but how you eat dictates your how you will grow and rest will help in that... YOu can get all the help you need on this site... Post your goals, diet routine, years of lifting, Supplement usage in the past and present..I know for a fact that alot of people can help you accomplish alot... Also use the search button and look for a great deal of reading about IGF...you will be suprised to what you can find in this site....good luck bro

I've been lifting for about 5 years seriously. I've done two cycles of M1T and i loved that stuff. I work out three days a week with my football team (it pretty hardcore lifting). I'm one of the strongest guys on the team and I know I can improve. I keep my diet pretty clean. A lot of protein, but our school cafeteria doesn't serve the healthiest food. My goals are to continue to grow. I know no matter how strong I am there's someone out there stronger.

AAS closes growth plates, IGF does not. If you decide to take IGF at your age, which I'm assuming is below 20 yrs., you are asking for trouble. Even adults have to be careful with this stuff.

I was trying to get away without tellin you guys lol but i'm 19. And I've heard the your too young stuff before and everything. But go ahead and give it to me if u feel the need to.

That's what I thought...

I'm not going to say one way or another. Now, if you had been 16, I would have given you the 'too young' spiel.

In answer to your question--what problems: IGF does not close growth plates. It does cause unchecked growth if you were that young. While it could cause you to grow taller than normal (if you took a lot) at an early age, it also causes organs to grow, your hands, feet, and jaw to grow, and you could end up looking like a neanderthal with a thick, heavy brow. The main concern is that the organs enlarge much more than normal because your body is already producing a lot of growth hormones at that age. Most people who have too much IGF at an early age end up having serious health problems later.

Since you are 19 and you say you have matured physically at an early age, there is a chance that the growth plates have closed--but that doesn't excuse you from doing research on your own about IGF. We as adults still have to be careful with this stuff. There is still potential for enlarged organs, hands, feet, brow, and jaw (otherwise known as acromegaly). Just make sure you do your homework before making a decision. If you decide to use IGF, use it wisely.

you are most certainly welcome, we are here to help each other...But do you research and make the right choice bro...good luck in your fitness goal and keep us updated...
