Here is a link to pics of my first show. It was a natural show in San Antonio last weekend. I got second in my class. I weighed 184 at 5'11. Apparently I spilled over, being my first show and all it was really hard for me to judge myself and notice that I was spilling over. Live and Learn though, next time I won't take in as many carbs. I weighed 184 at 5'11. I am going to take a lot of time off and put on some solid mass before I do it again.

Great job! I am preparing for my first show- it's on Sunday May,1 . Congratulations, I wish you well in the future!
 
I think you did very well but you are correct- you really spilled over and for anyone that has not done it , it is difficult to really see it until you see the pictures. I did exactly the same thing at the Lone Star last year and I thought I looked good but pics tell a different story. I am carb sensitive and really have to be aware of which food I use to carb up with. Great job overall though- your legs looked great!
 
I am competing under 165- to be safe I was considering the following carb plan


Contest is on Sunday- weigh in only on Saturday - strange but thats how they are doing it here in Puerto Rico.

Thursday- CARB LOAD - 300 GRAMS - SWEET POTATOES AND BROWN RICE

6 MEALS HALF CHIX BREAST EACH MEAL WITH CARBS EACH ,EAL


Friday= CARB LOAD 250 GRAMS - SAME FOODS

Saturday- wake up at 6 pm and go weigh in
Should I eat any shit meals after weigh ion or keep a 200-250 carb load?

To be honest, if you do not have experience in shitloading(the method), I would not attempt it but that is my opinion. Also do you mean 6:00am instead of PM?
 
Everyone is different your first time is just a shot in the dark. Good luck and have fun.
 
Yes I apologize, I meant AM. I wont chance the shitloading either until I have a couple comps under me...:)

There are some good threads about it.
 
im to worried to try shitloading.t his is my second show coming up so i dont wanna risk it. i;ll wait until i know my body better. maybe even try it a few weeks after the show.
