I'm expecting my MC product in a day or two so I thought I'd go ahead and get this started. I'm planning a 25 day cycle of 40 mcg per day split into two IM doses. I'll be using the IGF almost exclusively so we should be able to get some solid numbers regarding fat loss/lean mass gain. I will be monitoring body fat daily with calipers using a three point method. Goals for the cycle are:

1) Fat Loss
2) Lean Mass Gain
3) Repair of a long term hamstring issue
4) Balance left arm size with right arm

I also have chronic, but manageable, low level back pain that I'll be monitoring for changes.

Are you planning on modifying your diet?
Also, IMHO, I would take the BF at the end of the week(you may be frustrated if you take it daily).
My two cents.

My diet isn't the best; at least not like some of you guys. Generally I try to get at least 300-400 grams of protein a day. I use ON Whey to get 75-150 grams of that. I stay away from carbs except for toast in the morning and bread as part of my PWO meal. Every so often I'll load up with a hi-carb meal. I don't drink syrups (coke, etc) and try to get plenty of water but sometimes I fall behind. I'll stick to this routine but might try to keep the protein on the high side with cleaner sources.

Yeah, I'm finding that my skin fold measurements are very subjective to hydration levels and measurement technique. I'm getting better at the measurements and plan on taking them in the morning. Then I'll be averaging to get a general profile of what's happening with my body. I don't think you can do better than that with calipers.

I'll try to post some beginning stats later.

Just did my first two injections. Put 20 mcg into each bicep. Right now I can feel a bit of pain in the left. I accidently jiggled the needle a little so I'm sure that's why. I also forgot to aspirate the first one. Otherwise, it was about what I had imagined and I just need to get the routine down.

Beginning Stats

Age: 42
Weight: 208
BF: 19% (calipers method)

Right Bicep: 15 1/2"
Left Bicep: 16"

Belly: 97.5-98.5 cm

Flat Bench: 6x225
Incline DB: 8x85
Chest Dips: 10x35 (bodyweight plus 35)
Pec Deck Fly:10x265
Squat: 4x255 (ass-to-grass, see note below)
Barbell Curl:5x105
Skull Crunchers: 8x90

I do all of those exercises with regularity. I haven't done squats since August 7th due to back pain and illness.

I caught the flu on around August 11th and decided to end a six week oral cycle of SD and E-max early. So I basically did a three week cycle of SD and ended it on August 16th. As for the flu, it went from my chest to my head and stayed there for a week or so. Last Wednesday I went to the doctor and began taking Omnicef antibiotic. As of today the infection is 99% clear.

Today is the 12th day of PCT that includes Nolva, DHEA, & Fenugreek. It seems that I've been able to retain all of my strength but of course the gains have stopped.

My weight at the end of the cycle was 212 and this morning I was at 208. I had gained 14 lbs on that cycle but did put on a bit of fat (belly measurement increased about 1.5 cm). Interestly, I still have a bit of that constant pump 12 days into PCT. So, I might have a bit more of the transient cycle weight to lose in the next couple of weeks. My last SD cycle I gained 14 and then dropped 8 in the three weeks of PCT.

I plan on kicking off cardio today and hope to do around 40 minutes a day for at least 4 days a week. I usually jog or on the weekends I'll play basketball for 90 minutes or so.

Today I did 20 mcg in one bicep and then 20 mcg in the other right away. I guess that optimally I should wait and do the second one in the afternoon but that won't always be convenient. Any opinions about this would be appreciated.

Day 2 (day 1 stats in parenthesis)

Chest/Triceps WO

Bench - 4x235 (6x225)
Incline DB - 7x90 (8x85)
Chest Dips - 10x40 (10x35)
Pec Deck Fly - 6x300 (10x265)

Not a bad workout considering my test is probably still very low. Didn't feel like I was 100% recovered from last Friday's workout. My most solid bench day of late was after sitting out for a week with the flu.

Weight: 206.4 lbs (208)
Belly: 98 cm (~98)

I've been looking closer at my diet and found that I'm probably getting too much fat. I started analyzing with fitday.com and then found that Diet Diary (CalorieKing.com) is easier to work with and has a more complete food database. I'm going to try to maintain a 55% Protein/30% Carbs/10% Fats ratio of calories.

Got some cardio in yesterday and today. Slightly pullled my hamstring in B-Ball today but nothing I can't work through in my light jogging.

Day 3

Worked back/biceps today. Had a good workout generally. Changed to preacher curls (4x105) so I can't compare with my usual barbell curls.

Jogged 3 miles tonight (760 kcals on HRM). The injured hamstring from last night didn't show itself but I took it very easy. My left hamstring has a long term injury of some sort which makes it painful to stretch. Feels like something is damaged right where the muscle connects to the bone. I'm hoping that this cycle will help to repair that.

My diet was much better today but fat was still way over target (65 gm vs. 28.5 budgeted). With the diet coming around and the extra cardio I should be dropping fat pretty quickly.

No sides or any indications that the IGF is kicking in. I did an extra dosage of 30 mcg into the right bicep today partially in an effort to get things rolling and to help with the size disparity between the right and left arms.

Day 4

Worked legs for the first time in three weeks yesterday. Squats at 205 felt fairly heavy so I just did several sets at that weight.

My weight is down to 202.6 this morning but my belly measurement is still 98 cm. Normally I can detect fat loss pretty quickly with changes in the belly measurement. I've done at least 1000 kcals of cardio every day. The only way that I can explain this is that I'm losing the extra glycogen storage from the SD cycle. At 202.6 that leaves me with just under 5 lbs lean mass gain from the SD cycle.

I finally got my fat intake down to 30 grams. Protein was 360. I did leave carbs short at 94. My target was 225.

I'm going to pick up the IGF dosage until I see some sort of side or indication that it's doing its job. Dosages so far are:

Day 1: 20 mcg into each bicep
Day 2: 20 mcg into each tricep
Day 3: 20 mcg into each pec & 30 mcg into the right bicep
Day 4: 40 mcg into the right lower tricep & 40 mcg into the right upper tricep

I'll keep it at 80 mcg per day for a day or two and then I'll move it to 120 mcg per day. All injections will go into the right arm until its size matches the left.

Other notes: I received my replacement bottles of Rebound XT yesterday so I'm going to taper off the nolva and ramp up the RXT for the next couple of days and then will finish PCT on Sept 10th. I also added ZMA to PCT two days ago.

Day 5/6

Worked chest/triceps Thursday. Didn't feel fully recovered from Monday's workout.

Flat Bench: 3x240, 5x225 (6x225)
Incline DB: 6x90 (8x85)

As stated before, my weight on Thursday morning was 202.6. Some of the lower weight was due to water loss. I took a day off from cardio and Friday morning my weight was 203.4. On Friday night I ran 3 miles and the weight this morning (Sat) is at 202.4. I might have seen a bit of movement on the belly measurement. Did not lift on Friday.

Day 5: 40 mcg each into bicep & tricep of right arm
Day 6: 40 mcg into upper tricep of right arm

Diet is going well. Again, my target is 2500 kcals (350 gm protein/225 gm carbs/29 gm fat).

Still no indications of any sort that the IGF is working: No unusual hunger, no tingling/numbness in the hands and fingers, no hypo, no headaches, no pumps, no fat loss/lean mass gain, nothing.

Everyone is different in response to IGF.
I will tell you that to achieve your goals in the first post, you will have to consistent with the diet and cardio. IGF will aid, but won't do it 100%. No supplement will.
Good luck.

give it time brutha, the changes will will appear, day 5 is nothing compared to later down the road, though we are all different i for one dont get any sides , just noticablle changes in body composition down the road

Day 7/8/9

Weight: 202.6 lbs (208)
Belly: 98 cm (~98)

Right Bicep: 15 1/2" (15 1/2")
Left Bicep: 16" (16")

Dosage: 80 mcg ED into right arm

Ran 3 miles Friday and played B-Ball for about 90 minutes both Saturday and Sunday. Back is hurting quite a bit from that so I'll probably take it easy today.

No workouts till tomorrow (Monday). I wanted to give my body a rest from the intense workouts of the previous SD cycle.

Day 10/11/12/13/14/15

Weight: 198.6 (208)
Belly: 97 cm (~98)

Right Bicep: 15 1/4" (15 1/2")
Left Bicep: 15 1/2" (16")

Only got two workouts in last week due to back pain and the holiday. I've been doing a Pilates routine for lower back pain and it's helped wonderfully.

Haven't lost any noticable strength through PCT and have gained a rep or two in a couple of exercises. I haven't been keeping up with my creatine like I should so I might be dropping weight/mass due to that. Of the roughly 8 lbs I've lost during this cycle I'd say that 5 lbs were due to glycogen losses from the last SD cycle and maybe 2 or 3 lbs of fat loss. That agrees with my diet and cardio.

My dosage since the last update has been at 60 mcg per day into the right arm.

On September 13th I switched to IGF from another vendor in hopes that I'd see better results. I thought I noticed some mild night sweats for the first several days on the new IGF but other than that there's been no change. I injected almost exclusively into the right biceps and triceps over the duration of the cycle and experienced no local growth. I've had no measureable fat loss or lean mass gain. IGF has been completely useless to me and a complete waste of money.

I've had excellent service from MC so kudos to Presser and his efforts.

One man's experience.

This guy did IGF for 2 weeks, and lost a bit of fat, and he says it's worthless?
Why didn't you run it the full 4-5 weeks? 2 Weeks is probably not enough time to see major results.
