Im a little guy...19 yrs old 5'9 and only 155lbs...ive been lifting religiously for about 5 years now and i have to be doing something wrong....when i first started lifting i was 125 lbs (freshman year of hs) i have gained but not what i would like..everybody i lift with is rapidly shooting ahead of me somehow its gettin pretty depressing lol....my goal is to reach AT LEAST 185lbs.....ive used m1-t and got pretty good results however i dont want to keep using it due to the damage it can do to the body...im on a 1 muscle a day lifting program without about 5 lifts for ever muscle with 3 sets of 10-8-6...monday-thursday then i go in saturday and do 3 sets of 10 for everybody part with one workout each...ex bench, standing curls, seated rows etc.....my question is what can i do about this...i know i sound like an idiot but its really starting to get to me...can anyone give me some workout/eating programs....any type of help would be greatly appreciated...im not giving up until i get to my goal and even then i plan to continue with it

Look up user "Big A", look for growth priinciples. First off, try 1-2 sets per body group, 6 reps total. You should fail at 6. Eat all the time, take protein shakes a least twice a day and sleep for at least 8 hours. It does not happen overnight. Eat more, go heavy, no more than two sets per excercise, 6 reps, 3 days a week and no more.

Eating enough is the number one thing........

Also, are you logging your workouts? If you're just going to the gym and going to the same old machines time after time and seem to be getting nowwhere, you're not alone. I wasted years doing that. Then I learned to log my workouts and I've been making gains for going on 3 years.

Say you're working your chest and you do incline, decline and flat bench....and you're just using the same weight and not going up...the reason is you've got all you're going to get out of those. It's time to move on to doing them with dumbells instead. Once you've made all the gains you can w/ those and you can't get past the (90's), time to move to the ISO machines instead. Once you've tapped those...go back to the original flat, incline, decline. By the time you make your circle back around, you'll be stronger and stronger means more muscle. That is if you listened to the very first words I posted.

Do take a look in the Muscle Chemistry Discussion forum, and check the stickies at the top, One should be "Big A's growth principles for beginers"

What's you're diet like?
