What do you need a gun for man?

damn, come to Texas. Seems like everyone has one.

road rage stories ending with one guy pulling a gun and blasting the other are quite common down here.

Man, I just dont trust myself w/ one, lol.

Exactly why I dont own one right now. I mean yes I have had a few burglaries to my car and my lawn equipment, but I just know something bad would happen :satan:

I live in TX for a little while, near Kileen. You can shoot a firearm on your property. You can't posess fireworks. So if I am lighting off some black cats and the cops come I can tell them I was firing my AK-47 and it's not a problem. I can't even own a pellet gun in this state.

Glocks are nice, deffinately go with a .40 or bigger :satan:
Also, check out the Springfield Armory XD .40, very nice as well.
Berreta should also get a mention for the compacts.

Enjoy,

If you can afford a hundred more dollars, go with an H&K. I have fired almost every weapon known to mankind (foreign and domestic) and I personally love everything that H&K Makes.

IMO anything more than a 9mm is overkill. although a .50cal desert eagle is a nice piece of machinery, it's kinda useless.

I go mainly for reliabilty. I like the Ruger P series. I have the P-90DC and the new P345.

Im a fan of the .45 just for the simple fact that it puts a bigger hole in things :)

I had a glock 9mm but I had a couple jams and thats something I dont want to happen when trying to protect my family. Ive put over 2,000 range rounds through my rugers without a hitch.

For concealed carry I use a smart carry holster and I carry either of my rugers even though some say they are heavy and big. I dont see it that way. I also have the springfield XD 9mm with 3" barrel........Small and light. Not a bad pistol overall.

And Expensive.

Just for the sake of having a gun I would like to get a Ruger Black Hawk or .454 Casall. You can forget one if you are planning close quarters fire fights or lugging into grocery store on your hip. I have fired a sig. 40, Beretta 9 and scored expert with both, accurate at least but thats what counts.

The only two hand guns i own are desert eagle 44 mag and a dessert eagle .50...theyre both nice, and if u run outta bullets just hit the fuker with the gun. they way a ton lol

good point, the pistol whip might hurt more than the bullet.

I have had my permit for 10 years and stopped carrying a gun about 7 years ago. That reminds me, its time for a renewal. Thanks for the post. LOL!
