Nasty Taste in Mouth When Dieting

Hi,

Everytime I cut down on calories - and it does not necessarily have to be drastic, I often get this nasty bitter taste in my mouth. I have tried brushing but it will return after only a few minutes. Gum will sometimes do the trick but not often.

Also, how do you gals deal with hunger pains? Sometimes, I won't feel like eating but my stomach is really crying for food. I would eat a cup of oatmeal with whey protein but it won't really help.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for replying.

I am not really sure if I make sense...

Yes, sometimes, I am hungry - probably real hunger. But the nasty taste I have in my mouth is more like a bitter taste...then I have white coating on my touch that is somewhat thick when I scrape it a tongue scraper.

I use listerine.

Girl, I drink about a gallon of pure water a day. Don't you think that is enough;)

Actually B2S is all man baby!!!

Also, 1 gallon my not be enough if your protien intake is extremely high. I go up to 2 gallons + a day when running winstrol and Tren. Also, my protien intake can go as high as 600gm a day.

On a low carb diet it possibly be the ketones being released from your body. It makes your piss stink too.

Yes it does. very much so..

yeah ketosis will give you bad breath. While low carbing, energy pills will make the mouth drier and the problem worse. Try not to take anykind of energy drink or pill(clen doesnt make my mouth dry) because it also will also make you not as hungry while you should be eating your proper nutrients and calories.

Bad breath is inevitable while dieting....I try to drink 1-1 1/2 gallons of water a day...and Listerine Strips work wonders! I also carry a travel size bottle of mouth wash. LOL

Hunger pains? Are you sure you are not cramping from dehydration? I don't necesarilly have hunger pains....but when I drink coffee or take any type of energy supplement, thats when I am more apt to get cramping from lack of water.

I was going typ respond about the ketones also. I chewed gum alot when I was doing the EAS program. I'm really concious about my breath.
