Does anyone else have a job that pays for their car allowance? I want to get a good gauge as to what the average package is.

are you asking about jobs that pay gas (mileage)?

They pay .405 a mile but they want me on an allowance i.e $600/month plus gas.

That's supposed to make up for wear and tear and such I imagine?

My company pays out (i think) .415 a mile and that just changed from .38 or something.

I get $345 a month but I have a gas card from the company issued in my name along with a service card from valvoline. If I have to use my own car its .45 cents a mile.
