How long will powders and injectables last?

Guys, got a question here about the shelf life of raw powders vs. already brewed/sterile filtered oil/ba/bb injectables in sterile vials.

Basically I'd like to know which lasts longer? The raw powders or the already converted injectables?

I've heard from some people that injectables made with enough BA and BB will stay good for longer than the raw powders. I've also heard the opposite.

Reason I ask is b/c I homebrew my own gear and want to make sure my stuff doesn't go to waste. I have a couple hundred grams of uncoverted powder and a couple hundred already brewed stuff in vials. Wondering if I should just go ahead and convert the rest of the powders now or store them? I won't be able to use all of the stuff up within a year, the stuff I've already made will prolly take a couple years to use up. And I have 50g each of deca/test prop/test E/eq that are sealed and I won't be able to use until I'm done with the already converted stuff.

Any help, links, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

You should keep the powders in powder form in a cool (about 15 to 25degC) and dry place (best would be in an amber glass bottle with air tight seal, if you have some).
The best is to keep them away from light and oxygen and moisture
If you dont have amber glass bottles that are air tight use clear glass and seal the cap with teflon tape then with electric tape. Make you wrap the lid real tight with the tapes. then keep them in a dresser drawre or a cabinet you don't open often.

Powders will last longer then brewed gear. But im not saying that your brewed gear wont last. Actually brewed gear can last pretty long if prepared right and in touched. (ie:no holes in the rubber septum)

hope this helps

let me add, the more bb used will prolong the life of a already converted injedctable. I find that those under 10 tend to be painful and show signs of going made if not used with in a year. however, 15-20%bb will double the shelf life.

Thanks brew. I use 2%ba and 20% BB for my injectables, except prop for which I used 3/15. I did this mainly to increase the shelf-life.

I was under the impression (from reading posts on different boards) that already converted, sterile solutions lasted longer than the unconverted powders themselves. That's why I converted all of my powder to injectables after I got my first powder order. I made 250mL of test enanthate at 400mg/mL, 100mL of EQ @ 500mg/mL, 125mL of Deca @400mg/mL and 200mL of test prop at 100mg/mL. IN addition I have a decent amount of UGL test, eq and fina along with a few dozen ICN galenikas.

I recently got my second powder order of test prop, test e, deca and eq that I was going to brew up. They are still in the sealed plastic/foil packs and will stay that way until I need to use them. This is probably better than emptying them into amber bottles and sealing them, don't you think?

I've read the expiration dates on vials (on UG lab, vet, and human grade gear) and they range from 2-4 years (i.e. made 03/05 expires in 03/09). I don't know how long my stuff will last, but I'm hoping it is close to the 4 year mark.

Thank you for the info on the shelf-life of powders and injectables, I probably won't be able to use everything I've already made in the next couple of years and will end up (most likely) just giving some of it away or tossing it.
