Tick marks and mcgs

With all the posts I read yesterday on this subject I think I confused myself!

I have BD Ultra-Fine 1/2cc (50u) Insulin Syringes. There is 4 ticks in between each number. The numbers start at 5 and go up by 5 all the way to 50. ie. 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, etc.

My question is: Is each tick 10mcgs of MC's IGF? So the number 5 would be 50mcgs and 10 would be 100mcgs right?

I haven't used BD Ultra-Fine pins but 1/2cc pins should be like you described above so the 5 on the pin would be 50mcgs... each tick mark on the pin should be 10mcg.

yes, that's what I am using. Each tickmark = 10mcg. I use 4 ticks, or 40mcg
