what is your favorite (healthy) meal?

Hey guys, just wanted some feedback on some meal ideas. I get sick of the same old crap(i.e. steamed or grilled chicken breast w/ steamed brown rice and vegetables). I have a seafood allergy so I am limited as to what I can make. What are your favorite dishes. Thanks
 
okay try this one! this is different!

Sweet 'N Spicy Chicken

Makes: 6 servings

Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 lb. fat-free chicken breasts
- 1 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 cup mustard
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice
- 1/4 cup brown sugar substitute
- 1 tsp. horseradish

Directions:
- Prepare medium-hot grill and lightly spray with nonfat cooking spray.
- Combine pineapple juice, brown sugar, mustard and horseradish in a small saucepan; place directly on grill and cook 5-10 minutes.
- Sprinkle chicken breasts with onion and garlic powder.
- Cook chicken breasts 10-15 minutes, brushing frequently with sauce, until no longer pink and cooked through.
- Turn chicken once while grilling.
- Serve remaining sauce with chicken.

- Carbohydrate: 5 grams
- Cholesterol: 71 milligrams
- Dietary Fiber: <1 gram
- Fat: <1 gram
- Protein: 29 grams

For me, it's gotta be steak. I've been told to shy away from salt, but I can't help myself. A well salted steak is the best.

I've been really into this whole grain spagetti noodle that I found real cheap, I think my GF picks it up at a dollar store. Mix it up with some stir-fry asian-style veggies (just not stir-fried, miked) with the steak.

For some reason when someone asks me about a good meal, it needs to have carbs in it.
 
anything on the bbq... No bbq sauce (If your cutting), but I would hate to take away marinade. Add couple beers, and its a meal.
 
Some rare grilled London Broil seasoned with salt, black pepper and red pepper. Add a side of green beans steamed with some garlic and some butter substitute. I make some red patato salad with no fat mayo to go with it.
 
My favorite meals includes:

Vegetables fired rice,
Fried chicken,
Fried fish,
Pizza,
Fruit salad,
and fresh fruits juices.

By far my favorite is 93/7 ground turkey with 1 package of McCormick taco seasoning per lb of ground turkey! I cook 6lbs every Sunday for the week! It's awesome!

Salmon fish for me as besides good in it is great for health.
Salmon fish improves our vision, boost immunity and helps in weight loss. Salmon fish protects body from free radicals, depression, high blood pressure, stroke and certain types of cancer. So we must add salmon fish in our daily meals.
 
Definitely agree Francs!! Just make sure you get "caught in the the wild" and not "Farm raised."
 
My favorite is pinto beans and corn bread. My favorite healthy low cost is sauteed veggies over pasta with a little parmesan cheese grated on top.
