2-4 (my football team)

We won our 2nd game last night. We're 2-4 and we're going to the playoffs. In our league the top 4 teams go to the playoffs in each division. There's only 5 teams in the division and we're the 4th seed right now. The 2 wins? Both against the same team, the 5th seed in our conference.

There are 4 games left in the regular season though. So I guess if they win out and we lose out, they are still mathmatically in. But I don't see that happeneing (well, THEM winning out).

I committed my 1st 15-yard unnecessary roughness penalty. We were punting and I was going down field to make the tackle and a guy tried to earhole me (hit me from my side while I'm off ballance) but he ended up falling on his ass (I had him by about 30lbs). He started to get up and the wistle hadn't been blown yet. So I actually hesitated to make another hit on the guy but I still didn't hear the wistle so I layed into him as he was about 3/4's up and knocked him on his ass again. That flag came out mightly quick.

After seeing it on tape I was about 20 yards away from the ball and play. When I asked what I did wrong the ref said I was too far away from the play and it was unnecessary to hit him again.

I didn't know we couldn't hit in out league.

Anyway, a wins a win.

Thanks guys. Can't wait for this week, going to get revenge on a team that beat us 34-9 in week #2. We're a much better team, since we're only in our 2nd year we're all learning and becoming a better team each week, where the other teams have been together for 4-12 years and are going through the motions right now. I can smell an upset.
