As a student I'm often short of cash and a couple of times a week have to make myself low cost meals to stay within budget. Spaghetti bolognaise is an easy one as you can use any pasta (cheap!) and make a tasty sauce from minced beef, diced onions, black olives and tomato puree/paste.

I'm guessing from it's composition that the meal would be both high protein and high carb. Is this gonna be ok to eat for a couple of lunches and a couple of dinners each week? Or will it be too fattening?

If that's all you have it's better than nothing, but I wouldn't exactly call it great bobdybuilding food. If you are bulking than it should be good. Cutting it might be a problem with all of the carbs.

I do something similiar but I use a lot of BEEF in my version, basically I double the beef and only use half the pasta so it's a lot more pro to carb... but like BiggerStronger said it's not bad just not great if you're going to be cutting.

sounds great. I like a meat like that before a heavy lift day.... Nothing like carbing up first!!
