SPC,
There was some controversy of Mike Ergas gettting his pro card this year.
A lot of people(including me) thought he should have gotten it last year, but looking at #2 and #3 placed competitors, I would have to say it could have been very close.
On on the other hand Jason Palafox(from my city) placed 13th in the heavies and was disappointed with that placing. He has moved from the light heavies to the heavies in a few seasons, and he has gained tremendous muscle mass in the process. the only thing that might have hurt him is that in the process, his abdominal region has also gotten blocky. It's one of those sacrifices you make though...

SPC,
As you know its all relative.
As we all know that compete, there is always going to be some politics involved- its all part of the game.
I met Quincy Taylor at a show recently and one thing that stuck out is that he went through a lot of shows where the IFBB guys told him that either he was not going to be looked at or someone else was going to win(it was their time). We know it happens but for a pro to spill that information was pretty interesting. BTW , he was about 320 not too far from contest shape. Awesome physique.

I think Leo Ingram should have taken the Supers and Ergas should have gotten his last year for sure and what happened to Jerome Ferguson, he was off big time, but way to go Gregory Peeples the peoples champ for taking the middleweights and Manny Torres third in the light heavies.

Very much agreed. Its hard to get looked at with all the density and maturity at the top of the heap.
