Lcd Vs Plasma Tv. Tuner Or No Tuner?

Im in the market for a flat panel LCD or plasma.......Just wondered if any experts here have advice. Do I even need one with a tuner considering I have an HD reciever from Directv? I imagine all I would need is a Tunerless HD ready tv along with a HD DVD Player.

Am I missing something? This is for a bedroom so im going 32".

The thoughts of pretty picture make my peepee tingle.

i bought a philips 42" lcd hd and would highly recomend lcd over plasma any day

arent the LCD projection tv's worse (but cheaper) than the true LCD screen tv's?

Im looking at a Toshiba Flat screen LCD HD 1080i. The picture looked awesome with directv HD reciever......At the local store. I also read that the LCD has a Longer picture life and doesnt have Burn in like plasma.

I dont want a projection I need something slim I can mount on my wall above my desk.
The great part is the LCD has a 15 pin VGA input for my PC!
