I want to know if you guys would like an automatic new thread box at the top of every forum, just like there is a quick reply box at the bottom of every threads last post so you dont have to hit "new reply" button
Well along thos elines would it be a good idea to have an open box ready to go at the top of every forum already to go instead of having to go click the "New Thread" button and then make a new thread.
I know alot of guys have no idea when they come here how to start a new thread, because the "New Thread" button is a little button in the upper left hand side at the top of all forums,
some guys have asked me how to make a post, and some guys thought the "new thread" button was just saying the posts under it were new, alot of guys didnt know to click that button, and even i many years ago thought it was just a button to click to see new thread, thebuttons should read "Make a New Thread" or "post" cuase some folks come here and dont know what the hell a thread is, i know i didnt many years ago.
anyways i think it would be easier and more people would know how to post and we would get more posts if at the top of all forums there was already an open text box ready to be typed in.
Now next question has anyone ever seen this, i cant find the application for vbulletin, but if theres a "QUICK REPLY" box ready to go, then there has to be a "New Thread" open text area at the top of each forum so members dont have to click new thread, and new people will post more seeing the open box there that they can post in right away
