I guess it's all what you're looking for. I'm sure many will disagree with my worst city list. SF is good in many ways but has the largest homelss population I've ever seen. Secondly being LA. And LA is probably worst because of trafic.

Cyphon, my grandparents live right outside of napa. Calistoga is real cool too. You're right, it's a great area!

hey jay what was your favorite thing you saw or did in seattle ? we were the only people w/ that on our list.

I live in the south....I hate everywhere in TN...(I really despise the state as a whole and the damn UT Vols color). So to sum it up West, TN sucks major ass! I haven't been many places but anywhere other than where I live has to be good.

as for cities, it sucks here in dallas. houston sucks. el paso sucks. the immigration issues are getting terrible here.

just about any ski resort city is great because everyone working is getting rich from all the visitors who are having fun and partying. everyone wins

It reminded me a lot of SF but without the huge homeless population. I loved the market that they have (acroos the street from the 1st Starbucks). I got my picture taken next to that plack in the starbucks. The shopping there was great, they have a pretty unique mall. The street performers were REAL street performers, not junkies on a guitar playing for dope money. They had CDs in front of them for sale.

I loved the seafood in the resturants, it was second to none. They had a lot of lunch pub places that looked real good, but we only went to 1 or 2.

My fiance' is actually from just outside of Seattle so there was a lot of family there too.

It was just real awesome. We didn't go up in the space needle because it was an arm and a leg to go up for two adults. It may have been worth it because the weather was great and the view would've been awesome. We spent a few days there all day just walking around looking at stuff.
