I heard on the radio that if a person takes a 30 minute nap 3-4 times a week during the day their chances of having heart problems lower 37% mainly in men. Pretty interesting the people who conducted the search did so over the course of 6 years on like 200 people.
I saw this report on the news as well and they reported that some companies actually put in a room specifically for their employees to use to take a 30 minute nap and that productivity was up and illness was down. My new company has a small "relaxation room" with a comfy chair in it and you're allowed to reserve it but it's just off the kitchen and much too loud to actually sleep but it's a step in the right direction
geeze, i wonder if i dare share this info w/ my hubby. he would go to the gym every after noon and then come home and take a nap, but now he cant cause he works later.
