I was wondering if it is possible to overheat a powder when mixing to put it in solution?? Thanks.

just about anything can be overheated, powder too, your best bet is to mix the powder and other chemicals and apply mild heat till everything dissolves and hemogenizes, the mix should never reach a heat where it's bubbling much less boiling, do this and you'll nevr have to worry about over heating it

Thanks for the reply. I have made several batches, but never to the point where it was bubbling or even close. Mixed powder, BA, BB, Oil in a beaker. Placed beaker on pan and heated on level 2-3 on stove until mixture became clear. should be ok. Again, thanks for the reply

Not what I expected... Thought it would be alittle higher.. When I refer to melting point I mean the point in which organically it becomes another substance due to the catalyist of heat.
