Stallone finds our Customs odd

ROCKY star Sylvester Stallone will be allowed to leave Australia today, but he remains under investigation for allegedly attempting to bring prohibited items into the country.
Stallone was held up for two hours on arrival at Sydney airport on a Qantas flight from Los Angeles on Friday night after customs and quarantine officers submitted his travel bags to a routine X-ray.
Customs declined to comment on the items, saying it was still identifying what had been seized.

If the items - believed to be banned body-building drugs - are found to be prohibited, Stallone could be let off with a warning or face a summons to appear in court.

The actor will be able to leave Australia today as scheduled, Customs said.

"The investigation is ongoing and we are aware of Mr Stallone's travel movements," a Customs spokesman said.

The 60-year-old is attempting a career revival, reprising the two roles that made him famous. He came to Sydney to launch the sixth and final film in the Rocky series, Rocky Balboa, on Friday, while he will star in Rambo 4: Pearl of the Cobra next year.

In Rocky Balboa, Rocky - now a widowed restaurant owner - returns to the ring to fight the current world champion, while in the equally improbable Pearl of the Cobra, Rambo is one of a team of mercenaries who saves a group of Christian missionaries from Burmese militants.

The last time he graced the big screen was in the 2003 kids' movie Spy Kids 3D: Game Over.

At Saturday's premiere for Rocky Balboa, the star joked he had been caught for trying to smuggle a "giant cheetah" past Customs. "It's just a misunderstanding," he said.

Customs said Stallone and his five-person entourage were "fully co-operative".

Stallone said he was not angry with Customs staff. "It was just a minor misunderstanding," he said. "They were just doing their jobs. I just didn't understand some of the rules here."

probably not steroids at all, australias' customs SUCK, i've heard of guys getting their shipments of WHEY protein seized..WTF?!?!!?

Stallone has been a liftime idol of mine, I personally hope it was AAS, he would set a great example of how much steroids, when used right by healthy adult men, can have you looking and feeling 30, when your twice that, with no dibilitating side effects that are hyped up by the media. It might diminish the image some people have of steroid use. But maybe not, who knows. Either way Sly is the man.

The link doesn't work anymore, the story has been removed.

I'm still a fan, too. He is in fantastic shape for 60. I hope I look that good at that age.
