Hopefully this will stop the spammers.
I have set the option that new users will have to be validated before they can make posts.
We'll see.

It seems to be working.
After checking IPs I found 4 that had registered were fake and originated from Amsterdam.
4 were legit.
I have also added one more step where the email addy has to be validated.
Hopefully this will really cut down on the crap.
