ok, im half asleep but let me give it shot....body2see said:Gonna give the IGF a go for the first time...
From 0 to 5 units, there are 5 notches, or 5 small dashes, or 5 separate units if you want to call them that. From 5 to 10 units there are another 5 dashes/notches/units, and so on and so on....
To withdraw 10mcgs what is the desired UNIT on the insulin pin ( I am imagining that it would be literally 1 notch/dash/tick/unit/whatever you wish to call it)....so 40mcgs of IGF-1 would literally be roughly the length of the tip of the pen (1/4 inch or less)
Then there are the 1cc SLIN PINS...does this actually change the measurement of the amount of IGF???
THANX
the half cc syrings are measured differently from the 1 cc insulin pins. I believe each dash/knotch/mark is 1iu on the half cc pin and 2iu on the 1cc pin.
so yes, 10mcg is 1 dash/knotch/mark on the halfcc pin and 20mcg is 1 knotch on the 1cc pin. this is of course, if its actually dosed at 1000mcg/ml.
I do 2ml AA...so 500mcg/ml. makes dosing easier. the 10 line on a 1cc pin is 50mcg for me. the entire pin would be 500mcg.
