so glad it's Friday...

I had a rough week at the office, hardly got any quality training in and had to go to a rehearsal dinner last night, messed up my diet and I've got to go to a wedding tonight which will be my cheat day I guess although I'm going to eat as clean and good as I can all day and tonight as well and limit the alcohol to a glass or two of red wine.

All in all I have to say I'm incredibly glad it's Friday and that I can sleep in tomorrow get a good workout in - in the afternoon, take a nap, work on the house a bit and then watch DeLaHoya v. Mayweather. It's going to be a beautiful weekend.

We did but it was in the middle of the summer when everyone can take a summer friday and come down to the beach in the afternoon. Our "ceremony" wasn't until 6pm though so people could work if they had to. This wedding starts at 3. I told them last night, have fun at the church and I hope it's nice cause I'll be at the office, I could have gotten the time off but why waste it to go to church! lol.
 
Wow A 3pm Friday Wedding, Yeah Thats The Only Reason I Was Questioning, Cause People Sometimes Dont Show Up And Then Ur Beat For The Meal You Paid For Them To Eat, I Was So Pissed On My Wedding The One Person Who Didnt Show With His Wife Was The Only Dick Head Who Invited Himself To My Wedding, I Mean He Litterly Invited Himself By Saying "i'm Invited Right?" So I Was Like Sure, Paid For An Extra 2 People, And The Faggot Never Showed Up And I Never Seen Or Heard From Him Since, Hopefully He Didnt Die Or Something In A Car Wreck, I Would Feel Bad For Slamming Him All These Years But I Havent Seen Him Since The Night He Invited Himself To My Wedding
 
yeah we had the same thing happen two of my friends called and told me their wives weren't coming 2 days before the wedding and another couple just didn't show up. For one of these guys not only did i have to pay for his wife's meal because 2 days wasn't enough notice to cut it but the fucker never gave us a present either!

Sounds aweful...why is it that people invite themselves to weddings anyway. I don't mind them, don't get me wrong, but it's not exactly up there on my list of things to do. If I'm obligated to go by some family relationship I will go and if it's one of my boys then I'll go, but other than that I'll just politely decline. Is it just that these people really don't have anything better to do on a Fri or Sat than go to someone's wedding who didn't even think enough of them to ask them...Maybe they've seen wedding crashers to many times.
 
my brother asked one of his close friends to be the Godfather to his second daughter as I was the Godfather to his first. Two days before the guy was supposed to fly in to town he stops answering my brothers calls and then just never shows up. Luckily I flew in for the christening anyway because my wife was to be the Godmother and my bro was embarassed about it but asked me last minute to stand up. Of course I did and told him I would've considered myself her Godfather anyway but can you believe some people?
