Legal info

I hate to have to post something like this but I'm getting stressed and my friends and family get too angry when I ask for opinions.
The deal is I'm going through a real ugly divorce and my wife is doing whatever she can to make it worse. I just want to get my things and go but she's playing games. Yesterday I went there with some friends and a cop because I had a court order to get my things. I had an old Chevelle in the garage and a Dodge pick up in the driveway. When I got there the Chevelle was in the driveway loaded with stuff and the pick up was loaded with stuff,there were some miscellaneous things in the driveway that we threw in a friends truck. We pretty much thought that was everything but when we got to my storage unit and started unloading I realized I was missing alot of real important things. Her family is hell bent on throwing out whatever they can of mine. Can they legally do that? I also bought a new weed whacker that got sent there accidentally and that's nowhere to be found. I just want what's mine.What can I do? Thanks for any help

Im not by no means a legal guy, but Im pretty sure if you have reciepts or proof that you can sew her in circuit court for those items or a value if she has disposed of them. I hate divorces man, good luck and let us know if you need anything.

I have receipts for some of it but I'm tired of going to court and battling,I just want to move on.

It just depends on how important those things are to you then, bro. If it's just stuff that can be replaced and that you can live without, then as bad as you want to move on, I would say cut your ties and do just that.

However, things of sentimental value or along those lines may be worth fighting for...it's all up to you, depending on the importance of said stuff. I've been there before and know it's not easy...situations like this kind of run on an individual basis. Good luck man, fight if you need to, otherwise just keep walking your path and put it all behind.

Alot of people say the same thing and these are things that can be replaced but they are also things I need and with all my legal fees I'm not in the position to go out and get all new stuff and alot of these things are only about a year old.

sorry to hear your situation bro i hate to hear this. if financially you will need that stuff then fight that bitch man take her ass to court. i know you dont want to but you gotta do what you gotta do. If you can afford it then just get whatever you can and say peace out. Let us know if anything else goes down man. Im pretty sure she cant just throw things out though so i know you can prob get her their in the court of law. good luck bro.

If its not alot of money, then I would move on. The games with her will just get worse. Trust me on that!
