Fight Tonight

F**kin ridiculous. I was playing intramural flag football tonight with a bunch of people from school. We were playing against the undergrads on 1 field split 3 ways. Well, there was some jawing back and forth on the field next to me and then 3 of the undergrads jumped up like they were going to do something to one of my buds. Both teams got in each others faces and I took off over there to try and get it calmed down b/c the last thing we need is a reason to get kicked out of school. Well, I got my guy calmed down and the little prick mouthing him popped off to me, I turned around and I saw him swinging...stupid shit. I moved back and he barely missed, then I grabbed the kid, picked him up and slammed him on the ground. After that I completely lost my cool and I messed him up pretty good. I got kicked in the ribs by one of his friends, but a couple of my guys took care of that. I called the Dean tonight to tell him what happened and he told me we'd talk about it tomorrow, but if it happened like I said it did then I didn't have anything to worry about. I'm pissed now b/c I think it was a mistake to even go over there, I should've just let what happened happen, but can't do anythying about it now. Hopefully everything will work out. SHIT...I hate nights like this. The worst thing is my kids and wife were there and saw the whole thing. It scared the crap outta my kids, but they're ok now (@ least I think, there is really no telling what this will do to them). I'm done playing intramurals...from now on it's just studying for and lifting for me.

thats rough brother sorry to hear this. even sorrier the kids had to see it. Its all reaction bro im sure any of us would do the same thing in your position dont be too hard on yourself. ill talkt o you on aim now lol.

Kids are very resilient, doubt they will even remember it later. Might not want to bring them the next time you face this group though…

just got back from my meeting with the dean. He was pissed about the whole thing, but way more pissed @ the other guy than me. The thing is he has no idea who this guy is and because there was no report made he is going to leave things where they are right now. That's good for me cause I don't get in any trouble. I told me not to play football anymore, but I had already made that decision...way to easy for me to get into trouble with the possibility of gettin kicked out of school. But that's it. So everything went well.

that's great to hear bro, the good thing is that you came forward and spoke with him about it directly like a man. Glad you're not getting into any more trouble over it.

Kids will be cool - they will remember their dad was a crazy shit. If someone
mouths off to me my kids get pretty scared cus they seen me go a few times.
I think it would have been tough NOT to go over there. The best thing you did
was call the dean first. Sometimes we just snap - thats part of being a man.
We should all get older and wiser - I'm still waiting and I'm almost 50. LOL
