A Little Bit Nervous

So I am doing about 80mcg a day; 40 in the am to the quads and 40 pre-workout in the upper pecks. I had an inject this morning--brand new points--worked legs today. Now, my right quad has lost feeling where I took the shot this morning. I cannot feel it when poking at it with a pen or anything. No noticable swelling; only a small bruise. If I cannot feel it in the am I will have to go see a doc--I just hate telling my doc--yeah, doing the IGF and then get the speech. Anyone ever get numb before?

brutha, I would head to the doc if I were you. I could very easily have damaged a nerve when you injected. R u a diabetic??? The only studies I found with symptoms similar to your were those of Diabetic Peripheal Neuropathy. Go see the doc and let us know what happened. Sry to hear about this bud.

before you panic I had the same thing happen to my left delt, it went completely numb in one small area about the size of a half dollar. After 3 or 4 days it started to come back a little at a time and about 3 weeks later it was fine.

I had the same experience before as well Glen; just like Mike said, it came back after about a week, little by little by the day but came back fully after a week. It was in my bicep.

sorry guys. I just got this. But i've had the same thing. i think it has taken a month to get better. It was so bad that i could apply a ton of pressure to my delt, and feel nothing.... dont worry glen, you'll be fine. Just stop hitting those spots.

Were you able to come back to the delt after the numbness went away without experiencing any more problems? Also, did you lose any power in your delt during that time it was numb?

I never thought much of the numbness till after I was done using the igf. It actually took a while before I began to even notice it because it was in 2 very distinct areas. I was doing hack squats and noticed that the bar felt weird on the front of my shoulders… that’s when I caught on…lol. I was focusing on those areas because my shoulders where f-ed up from heavy bench and military 2 months prior.

I didn’t have any strength loss. I actually had one of my best military press lifts while experiencing this numbness.

I believe it was from always administering in the same spot. You really should rotate.

i never had any ill effects from the numbness, I chalk it up to damaging the nerves in the area but not enough to cause permanent damage. I never lost any strength or had any other problems.
