Just wondering if we got any union members on the boards and what locals?

most of us prob wont want to share that information in the open. I used to be a member to one but now im an ind. contractor so i dont need one .

I wish i was in the union. Right now id be getting 90% of my pay while being laid off...lol

2 of my brother-in-laws are in Unions, one is an electrician and the other I'm not sure exactly but he works construction for phone, cable installations etc. They get pretty good gigs and loads of vacation and off time. The electrician can take 10 - 12 weeks of vacation a year which is a pretty sweet deal!

Yeah they exist , they are the ones that keep your wages up...I've worked both, when I was non union I loved to get on those prevailing wage jobs where your making twice as much as you would normally with your company, then I talked to a union Business agent and he said wouldnt you want to make that every day... He said prevailing wages are what we make every day . Wasnt a hard choice.
