Children left in car outside strip club

TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Police have arrested a man after finding his four young children in a near-freezing car outside a strip club.
Thirty-2-year-old Sapulpa resident Cardrico Lajuan Nash was allegedly in the Tabu Topless Cabaret for at least an hour before officers responding to a citizen's call discovered the children sleeping in the car about 1 a.m. yesterday. The children included a 3-month-old baby, and others ages 4, 6 and 7.
It was about 35 degrees at the time.
Nash was booked into the Tulsa County Jail. The children were placed with human services officials.
According to court documents, Nash was arrested in May 2006 and charged with drug trafficking, a felony. His trial is set for Jan. 23.
Nash served jail terms from 2003 to 2005 for failing to provide for minor children, false impersonation and possession of a firearm while under supervision.
