UFC 79 tonight!

This looks to be a damn good card. I'm hoping we get some good ass exciting fights. My picks are in bold.

Interim welterweight championship bout: Matt Hughes vs. Georges St. Pierre
Light heavyweight bout: Chuck Liddell vs. Wanderlei Silva
Light heavyweight bout : Lyoto Machida vs. Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou
Lightweight bout: Rich Clementi vs. Melvin Guillard
Heavyweight bout: Eddie Sanchez vs. Soa Palalei

Hughes is done for in my opinion. I want St. Pierre to dominate him like last time. It looks like Chuck is on a downward spiral ever since his loss to Rampage. Don't know much about Sokoudjou. Melvin Guillard is just a lightweight version of Kevin Randleman. Eddie Sanchez looked horrible in his fight against Mirko. We'll see how he does here.

well i believe that Hughes will take his fight, I think liddell will also win after a long fight as long as the fight doesnt go to the ground, but im still betting on chuck , goin with Machida in the light heavy, Def Guillard as i think he cant be beat right now, in the heavy weight in goin with Sanchez, i think hes been prep for the fight and will be a good fight but Sanchez in the end..

Liddell does have a good ground game - just havent seen it in a while. Hope he
learned his lesson with Rampage - "KEEP YOUR HANDS UP STUPID!!!" Should be
a good card, hell, I'm paying for it and I'm a cheap mother!! lol

st. pierre fight turned out exactly how i figured. I dont know what the deal is with chuck last night i actually saw chuck fight. The previous two fights umm im not sure who was in there fighting. Hopefully hes back for some 100% chuck fights like last night.

Yeah, I loved the hughes/st. pierre fight! Hughes got owned! The liddel fight was good, but I was hoping for a knockout by someone. Machida did damn good too.

i wouldnt go knocking hughs yes he is a cocky prick but the guy can fight and i am glad pierre did win but that just shows you how good he is and the media is saying that the guy only had a little time to train for the fight but let me tell everyone something piere trains year around and hard so he is always ready to fight. and as far as hughs being done i dont think so i mean look at coture evereybody said he was done to and he came back and kicked some ass.

I don't think hughes is done yet, he just got dominated the other night. I'm glad Liddel is back into it, he did seem like he was on a downward spiral; it looks like he realized it and kicked his ass into gear.
