Yeah that would piss me of too. I can see why you would be upset..

wait....
I put up a $1100 custom bass guitar.

it was maybe $200 by 2 hrs left. finished at $770. not bad.

yeah that its true dreww alot of people may be watching it and waiting to pounce you might get more then you think :) be patient

If you can't bro...get someone you know to outbid whoever has bid on it and that way you don't have to sell it.

I never thought of the that! That is a great idea for someone in your position chewin!

just be careful... make sure there isn't any penalties for that.... meaning $$ wise for listing fees.. then again, taking a listing fee hit vs losing your bike dirt cheap might be worth it...

talk about a gamble and a half..

If you don't get what you want then just end the auction that is all you need to do but yes yes you can put a reserve on them... I bought my bike of there a iron horse slammer for 17500 save almost 20 grand what a deal the guy needed to unload it and I was there just in time

well i did put a reserve on it and ya i have spoke with a few guys that had some things in the auction and had a friend bid on it so it wouldnt sell for cheap so i guess u never know...its up to 6100 now ..lol...i have more then that for extras on it...guess its a wait and see but if i dont get what i want for it then i guess ill be riding it again this year thats all....

I'm in Calif. There are a lot of bikes for sale out here. A lot of times the seller wants
to get the $$ back for all the xtras. Dosent usually pan out that way. In 2004 I was
looking for a bike. Had sold my last one when kids were small. I had new priorities
and had "grown up". lol Couple of years later I got the itch again. Looking at all
the used bikes I found they were very expensive cus everyone wanted the $$ that
they put in xtras. I ended up buying a NEW Dyna FI superglide. It was way cheaper
and I could set it up my way. (not to mention the warranty)
I think if you price it for the type of bike it is and
only bump price a little for the xtras you might have better luck. Everyone is looking
for a deal. Good luck bro.

oh i agree with ya...but i look at it this way also...it books for 14,500 stock....with all the extras if i could get what it books for ill b happy....i think thats a hell of a deal for someone....have bout 10 grand in extras

lol. thinking you're gonna get your money back in "extras" "mods" "etc". is a bad move.

did you know, if you put 10grand in mods in your car, it really makes the resale value go down?

thats why Im keeping my project car forever. I'll never get my money back on it.

Extra are for you no one else when you put a peace of chrome on you have just but your money in the trash if you think you will get it back My bike is done and I know that the 15 t0 20 in extras will never see my pocket you might want to take them off and sell them separate you might see more return that way

well the most of my money went in to motor and performance parts...just hoping there is a buyer out there that knows what there getn in my bike ....its better then new in my oppinion...but either way if it doesnt sell then guess ill just have to put bitches on the back this summer...lol

I dont mean to pry but why do you want to sell your bike.? I love riding bikes. I've got 2 different bikes. I have a 1983 sportster that my dad left to my when he died and A 98 GSXR 750. I wouldnt part with my Harley because of centimental value.Me and my dad in my teen years tore this bike apart and made it tataly customed out. It had a Wideglide gass tank on it,we had it bored out I think it was 30 or 40 over. I remember we put in all kinds after market engine, body and accesories on it. My dad actualy had met Indian Larry(God rest his soul) a couple of times and he did a fork modification, custom foot rest pedals, and a 1 off custom Rat Fink paint scheme based in burgandy and jet black. The pipes where black and wrapped. It looked really cool. This bike is bad ass. Next time I make it up to western Maryland I'll take a Pic and post it. But yeah man I love to ride. Dirtbikes, quads, sport bikes, cruisers, ect. I love getting out on a nice fall day when the leaves are in the middle of the time that they change colors and take a ride down to Skyline Drive in Virgnia. Man what an awesome ride bro. If you ever get the chance I would make that drive. It would be well worth it.

i do enjoy the bike and it is set up just the way i always wanted my harley to be...the problem is this...i bought a new truck in 05 i bought a new snowmobile in 05 i bought a new harley in 05 god damn house i live in is about 5000 sq ft and now with the damn propane cost going through the roof its maken the budget kinda tight...and last year a few of my buddies i rode with decided to sell there bikes and now i really dont have anyone to ride with...so there it is in a nutshell

That I can understand. Al least you still have another toy like your snow mobile to get out and ride. I wish I had the money bro, Or I would consider buying your bike. It sounds like a nice bike. with some nice upgrades. You should put it in the auto trader magazine. They have a motorcycle version. That way alot more people can be advertized too. I'm sure theres a great amount of Harley riders out there without internet access either, Wich makes the auto trader mag. a more suitable way of advertizing sometimes. The auto trader company is nationwide and you can pick up their mag at just about any coveinence store, news stand, or book store.
