Tanning?

Just curious to see what the other ladies do about tanning. Personaly, I go off and on all year, and I go more often the closer it gets to short weather.

tan all year... fake bake and real sun...
if i didn't i would look as pale as a bowl of oatmeal...
fake bakes in the winter .. try to keep it to once a week. just to keep some color and look healthy..
summer try to be out side as much as possible... i have pasty white german skin.... if it wasn't for the beds most of the year though... i would like as pale as this page background..

i like the tanning beds... i have come to the conclusion that is really the one place in the world that no one can bother you for atleast 10-15 min... no phones.. no people can talk to you.. just the music... fans .. warm air... and that strange humming noise .. i find it relaxing.. does any one else???

I usually go tanning early spring and through the summer....i go mostly to the tanning salon...but whenever i can, i go to the beach to get a nice tan....I came from a country where a lot of the people are naturally tanned, but for some reason...i was one of the light skinned ones.. ??? But i like the tanning salon...and i have to agree with Sasha on the relaxing part...very relaxing...

We are far too caught up in appearances. Tan, no tan, half-tan - deep down aren't we all the same? Don't we all share the same desires, dreams, and aspirations?

I think we all need a group hug - my place, say about 9ish. I will bring the lime jello and the redi-whip.

I think tanned women are very sexy, I also think untanned women are too - go figure. Some tanned guys are sexy, but I don't ride that bike.

Yes, I find the tanning bed very relaxing.......the humming puts me right to sleep

So...9ish...but I don't like lime jello...

I do use a tanning bed a little in the sprind and summer, but I prefer to head to the beach to tan....much more fun.

the beaches here suck... the water is nasty.. the long island sound is notorious for dumping by the medical industry.. eeehhhh.. but there is one place that has instead of piers going out into the water.. years ago they built up walk ways with huge rocks.. that go about 70yrds into the water.. great to lay out on...

Yea.....it is almost always chilly at the beaches around here.....if you want to lay out by the water...you have to go to one of the lakes. And I just don't have enough time to lay out.....I am soooo white that it would take me forever to get tan without a tanning bed. And I burn easy, I can have a tan and spend the day wakeboarding and still get a sunburn (a bad one) damn this fare skin!!

There is a wonderful beach in southern Michigan in a city called St. Joseph. It's run by the county, has some dunes here and there, and is cleaned during the summer by the local inmates. And when I say clean, they sweep the sand off of the sidewalk back onto the beach. Wonderful concessions are set up, and the restrooms are actually cleaned daily. It takes me about 45mins to drive there, but damn, I go every weekend. I love it.

I am right w/ ya Dez.. I tanned 3xs a week for the month of Feb to get my base and till summer I will now just go on Fridays... I cant wait to go to the beach this summer

hell i can't wait for summer.. as long as sticky and i do not fall alseep on the rocks again and i get blackend on ones side of my body..heehee.. that was the last time i seen the sun light like that.. after a long night of partying..we decided to go to the beach to relax.. popped a few caps of G.... layed there.. in club clothes... heehee.. i was on retina-A and diocyciclne..so one comlete side of me.. from one hour of sleep.. got fried.. lol..
so now...our gym has a new stand up tanning bed.. hell i stopped taking the doctor prescibed shit for my skin.. used this thing 2x... acne.. almost completly gone... and one hell of a tan that i normally do not get...hell i am in love with this new bed... can't remember the name of it.. it think cyclone but not sure..
2x a week and tanned as i can be.. with no accelorators...

I have a question for the tanning crowd - men and women. When you guys put lotion on after tanning - how in the hell do you apply it to your back? Or do you?
