Acetic Acid 100mM Homebrew

Hi guys

I would like to make some Acetic Acid to reconstitute some IGF, I have the following ingredients:

- 100% Natural white vinegar (7%) Presumably the 7% is the Acetic Acid
content?

- Demineralised water that you would use in your Iron

- .45 Whatman filter

Would these ingredients be ok, what are the ratios. I also read that White Vinegar has 5% Acetic Acid. And I only have a .45 whatman filter and not a .2, would this be ok?

Once reconstituted I would then draw out the desired dosage of IGF and mix with some Bac Water to reduce the sting etc.

so 7cc water and with 1cc of vinegar to make a AA solution
I personally would use Bacteriostatic water as if is cleaner.

inject 2cc of AA solution into ur vila of IGF.

and once reconstitutes draw out desired dosage of IGF and mix with some bac water as needed to reduce sting

I was thinking of using Bac water as I wasnt keen on using the demineralised water. Also I have some NACL and was told this will keep IGF for approx 30 days, is that correct? Would the preference be for AA?

From what I have read, the original manufacturers for IGF instructed to use AA to reconstitute. And plus with AA, the IGF keeps for about 2 yrs if im not wrong due to the acidic solution. I'll hafta go digging up articles. but most ppl use AA

You don't need a pharmicist to help you reconstitute IGF-1, it is very simple.

From many members here on the board, you will here you need to reconstitute with AA.....

But from all my research, i.e., reading Groprep's site, the actual patent research done on IGF-1, other research articles, etc..I have found that 0.9% NaCl is the MOST WIDELY USED RECONSTITUTION METHOD, and creates a pH of around ~5-6.5, lasting well over a year...whether at 0 degrees C or 30 degrees C

YOu're pharmacist can help by measuring the pH of the reconstituited IGF, since the most stable solution seems to occur when having a pH of 6. He hsould be able to verify the pH for you, if you are worried about it. Seems like a waste of good IGF to me, but at least it would give you peace of mind.
I have decided to use NACL (Braun) 0.9% at the moment, any comments?

where do you get nacl?
