I can't cook

So I tried to cook a meal last night. My wife had been gone all weekend and I was going to cook her a nice dinner when she got home. Don't know what possessed me to think I could cook, but something did. Tried to make some salmon, so went out and spent about twice as much money as it would've cost us to eat the same meal, prepared by a professional. I tried to make Salmon and didn't cook it enough for her. Then I burned the desert I tried to make and set off the smoke alarms in the house. I am going to stick to my blender!!! And I'm glad she's home so that I don't starve.

I know you can cook salmon. I but the type with the skin still on it. Put parsley and dill weed on the other side.

You cook the side with the skin a lot longer than the side without. I turn the heat halfway on the stovetop and let'er rip

Will give that a try in a couple of years, when I get the courage up to cook again without my smoker or grill!!! Actually I'll probably just throw it on the grill.

you're better off just leaving it out in the shed with some smoldering wood chips... check on it in a few days and you've got smoked salmon!! Glad the wifes home, I wasnt' worried about you but I felt bad for your poor kids. LOL. Have you been giving them cereal with Muscle Milk on it everday or what???

I'm a big fan of fish and just made some tilapia for the wife and I, really easy because it's thin and you can cook it all the way through without flipping it if you just cover it half way through.

thats great . lol. next time order out, bring it home, throw away the packaging, and say " looked what i cooked honey" works every time........ just dnt use the plastic forks that came in the bag

hahahahaha, they're fine. She's not dumb enough to leave them with me for the weekend...she took them with her. She knows how they'd eat!!! I'm going to smoke a brisket friday cause it's easy to do. I'll just stick with that.
