anyone doing corned beef for St. Pats. day?? It is the one time a year
we do something Irish. Cooking it tonight.

I'm so pissed! I read this post and got all hyped to cook up some corned beef and cabbage. I head to the grocery store to get all the stuff I need only to find out they're out of corned beef. I head to another grocery store and they're out too! Argh! This place disappoints me in every was possible!

Totally forgot it was saint patty's day until a couple of hours ago. lol. So no on the corned beef and cabbage. That would be good though. Maybe we'll make some tomorrow.

Don't feel bad...corned beef & cabbage isn't Irish. Its a 100% American tradition. You won't find anyone in Ireland eating corned beef & cabbage for St. Pats Day.

You want Irish? Try Bangers & Mash, Fish & Chips with Mushy Peas, Beef Ireland, Slab Bacon & Cabbage, or a Full Irish with Black Pudding.

we had a party at the office yesterday and they had corned beef sandwiches and guiness... way to ruin my diet on a Monday!

I had cornbeef and cabbage for dinner lastnight. Its was great ! Allthough I hate the smell of cabbage when its being cooked...lol Smells like shit. But it tastes great !...lol

No shit. We never had it growing up (all my grandparents are from Ireland)
and it wasent until I was at girlfriends house (who was Mexican) and her
mother made it for St. Paddy's day and was shocked we didnt do the same!
