First tat tonight

Just got my 1st tattoo tonight. It says IP across my forehead. Nah, but I really did get it. I got a tribal design a buddy of mine drew going from the back of my deltoid onto the top of my back. Overall I'm real happy with it. But we'll see in a few days. My wife was supportive and my kids even came down and watched. A buddy went with me and got some writing on his back, unfortunatly for him the writing is not as straight as it needs to be but I didn't point that out. He'll find it out soon enough. I am getting something drawn up now - it was originaly going to cover something I
got when I was 15 (a long time ago!!) but I think I am goint to put it in another spot.
The guy who is doing it saw all the realestate on my upper body and arms and started
drooling. I had to tell him to calm down, I am only looking for 1 this time. lol
(before he does the first 'stick' I am going to YELL and ask if the whole thing will
hurt that much!!)

Sweet deal, bro. I just got back from the tat studio myself and have an appointment for next week to do a cover up on a lame ass job I got years ago. I have quite a few and this shitty one sticks out so it's time to fix it. They are addicting as all hell.

After the first one you'll get hooked bro...I've got a few myself and want to get a few more. Actually I want to cover my whole body in tats like those circus side show acts but my work would probably fire me. lol.

What is the $$$ in your guys neck of the woods. Here in Calif. it averages around
$150 hour. Prices sure have gone up, especially since the reality tattoo show's.
The quality is way better also though.

I'm definitely hooked. My first was a celtic knot armband (all the way around) my right bicep, folowed by a huge bearpaw on my left shoulder, followed by a Tribal that extends fro my right elbow, "under" the armband, and up my neck. I'm itching to get my next one..probably a centaur on my upper back....

Its around $80/hr in RI. I got a few new tribal tats going up my neck and around my traps to my back. I ll try to get sum pics up

The price was actually really reasonable. I called a tattoo place in Knoxville, they are well known and advertised and the price was about $125/hour and they quoted me 2 hours so $250 for my tat because of the size of it. I went in the place here locally and had to wait about an hour for him to finish but he did it all in just about 2 hours and charged me $150. Of course there is a requirement that I bring him some of my homebrew, but I was real happy with it.

ain't that the truth... I've got 4 and now I'm designing my new baby's name to go somewhere on me very soon.

If my wife was more open to it I'd have a lot more but she's not a huge fan even though she has 2 herself!

They are addicting I got my first tat when I was 18 and just got my 5th one last week. Mine are well placed so if I don't want them shown they aren't......but congrats on your first of many tats and have a great day!!!!!
