You know what sucks, is when you train hard 4-5 days a week, focus on making time in a busy schudle to eat right, take shots EOD, walk around sore from the previous work out, break out due to sweat from training, gain 15-25 pounds, in my case 15, and after all that loose 10 pounds in 1 week due to a nasty stomach virus.

How frustrating is that crap man. Its like its pointless to put in that hard work, and its not even worth it anymore. I dont know what keeps me coming back for more. I was going to compete last year, gained 15 hard earned pounds in a few months during bulking time, about 3 1/2 months out from competition I get sick for about 10 days and loose 10 pounds. Man thats frustrating. With me, I am a very hard gainer, I have to constantly eat to MAINTAIN weight, and the day I dont eat like im suppose to im back to square one, lol, funny how that works. Ok, im done bitching, thank you!

that does suck bro, i would imagine the stomach virus only depleted u of mostly water weight though right or u had one hell of a fucking virus in which case i feel for ya cause ive had that before and its no fun, lol, hell i cant tell ya how many times some bullshit impeded my progress to the point i wanted to quit

the great part of it all though is that you'll be right back at it brutha, cause its in ur blood to be big!

I know what you mean. I dont mind missing a workout, cause if anything I need the rest. But missing meals sucks cause I actually see the weight dropping off me daily.
Im on that m-drol crap now and like all other orals, it has put my appetite in the gutter. I only eat because I get nausous from my stomach acid eating away at my stomach. When I eat I get nausous cause Im so full.
on a plus note, Im cutting up pretty fast and the m-drol keep some of the weight on. I need the real shit, lol!

Ive seen water weight drop off, but I def. lost muscle in the process, my arms and chest are smaller, very depressing. Since I ate something small maybe once a day during the sickness, my stomach shrinked so I can take in nearly as much food from before I get sick, but its getting better day by day. But your right, ill be back at the retarded sport here shortly lol.

I feel for you man. I have had the same thing happen to me. It is really hard to even just maintain what you have, and you gain so much only to lose it to some virus. I hate that. :curse:

That's rough man. I know what you mean though. It's been a constant struggle for me to maintain body weight. I stopped working out for a bit and my weight suddenly exploded. I'm now on the way down from 225 or so.

So the solution to my problem is to take awhile off from this lifestyle? lol thatd be a nice and easy solution.

That's what happened to me...lol. I can't say it's all muscle but it's probably a 50/50 split of muscle and fat. So just sit on your ass all day and do nothing. Watch your weight grow. haha. Seriously though. I'm currently trying to diet down to get down to about 200 or 205. Almost there...For me it wasn't a situation of being totally burned out with bodybuilding, it was more so work and life made it difficult for me to keep up with the daily bodybuilding lifestyle. I'm slowly getting back into it and I think that break did my body some good. Before I never thought that my frame could hold 225 because I was always stuck at 200lbs but now I know I can easily get up to that weight (albeit a more muscular lower body fat 225lbs...lol) since I've been there for a while now.

Sucks bro. i feel like i have to stay On all summer just to maintain my weight, because of my hard labor job, and fast metabolism!

Dude, I can so relate to what you're saying. I was mid cycle here in March and caught the flu from hell. Laid me flat for about 3 days, but it took a good two weeks to shake it completely. One of the worst flu's I've had in years. I felt like I poured my money down the drain. It's bad enough to get sick, but when you're running a cycle,..shit. It's a mind fuck.
