haven't you not been working out though?
I seem to lose some weight, a few lbs., when I take a week off of training. Like my muscles dont hold as much water since they aren't getting worked out and aren't needing to heal as much.

and x2 on the humalog, I wanna try that.

Anyone ever try humalog??

Gave it a go for the last week or so, between 4-8 max iu, and oddly enough, I got nothing off it...No strength, no volumization, no intense hunger, etc, etc, that is to be expected. Only side I get is sleepy, and then I have NO APPETITE the remainder of the day???

I know that's soon to expect something, but I LOST weight LOL with this!!!! A friend of mine ran the same exact bottle and gained 10lbs in one week, water and all of course....but still...

Anyone ever have this happen??

Slin doesn't normally make you hungry. I didn't get hungry when I used it. Getting sleepy is a little dangerous though. If you feel sleepy, you better be eating some carbs because that is the first sign of going hypo. You have no appetite because of the going hypo as well. Get those carbs up, and you will feel much better.

humalog is the fast acting slin with a shorter half life and is only available by script, but you can order it from some canadian pharamcies via the net but it takes a while to get it..i am hearing the best results come from taking it when you first wake up with a large carb meal and postworkout to absorb all those nutrients etc..

insulin doesnt make you stronger. it converts your carbs faster is the reason we take it, not for strength.

i dont understand how you were using it? 4-8 ius each day? just random times? the idea is to take it when you need to uptake carbs the fastest, i.e. morning and pwo. some use a mix of humalog and humalin r, so they are storing all day. i would suggest pwo for starters, start at 4 iu work to 10 max. and then drink you pwo shake. somewhere around 100-200 carbs, from waxy and dextrose mix. then eat a meal in like an hour and a half. humalog peaks in hour and runs its course in around 2.

b2s normally I would say you are on the mark about pretty much everything, but I think you were misinformed about 'slin. Insulin has never done anything but make me tired. I would never think to take it in the morning for this reason as well as being carb depleted from sleep is another one. Making it easy to go hypo. I used Humulog post workout for awhile. never more than 8iu with 80-100g of carbs, and protein. I'm insulin sensitive I suppose because it caused me to gain some weight - about 50/50 fat to muscle. I stopped running it because I kept going hypo (too impredictable in my case) which is the symptoms you describe: dizzy, tired, etc.

Also db006 hit the head on the nail with everything he said. Using insulin in bodybuilding is just a vehicle to force more carbs and protein into your depleted stores.
