Hypoglycemic reactions

Anybody experience hypoglyemic reactions from IGF. I started it 4 days ago and everyday I have had the symptoms much later after taking it. When I increased it to 40,mcg yesterday it was even worse blurred vision, nausea, sweating and headache, lightheaded. The 20mcg just causes me to feel really carb depleted much later after taking it like the feeling you get when dieting for a show and the end if almost there. Since I am not dieting I am just eating more frequently. like every 3 hrs.

Thanks guys appreciate any help.

yup search hypoglycemic on igf i bet youll find my thread. Ive had the same thing happen everytime i tried to take it so i just stopped taking it all together. Saudades has had similar responses as well i believe.

Yes, I have experienced it. IGF mimics insulin in its mechanisms though the effect is different. You should increase your carb intake when using it.

Is it good to go 5 days on and 2 days off? I think I will try tomorrow with increased CHO. It happened after my steak and brown rice at 1:30 today about two hours later. Does your body adapt? It really makes me feel knocked out the rest of the day even after I eat a lot. Think I will adapt or should I forget it?

So you did everything to prevent it? Ate more CHO? I wonder if it is because my metabolism is very fast and I just came off cyp/EQ now with a prop bridge

what does cho stand for? Yes i did pretty much everything i could think of. Tons of carbs fast acting and slow acting and even some medium to keep them in me all the time. I had to take a couple bottles of orange juice or anything with alot of sugar in it to class with me because i would start getting confused and blurred basically exactly like you described. Once i would drink some or eat something it would go away but then a couple hours later it would happen again. I dont know how serious it could get on igf but it scared the shit out of me enough i didnt wanna use it anymore which sucks cause its an amazing supplement.

Bro---thanks for responding and helping me. The same thing I eat and 2 hrs later it is back then late in the day I feel knocked out Two days I sat down and could not keep my eyes open after the symptoms left I fell asleep just drained like dieting for a show in the end. Oh---sorry CHO is carbohydrate. Ya I may not be able to use it either as I have to work and have to function. It does suck a big one. Husband called me and said I am sick described his symptoms and it was just like above I told him to eat fast after he did then a big burst of energy so now he is eating every 2 hrs and can function---what a bomb!!!!:dizzy:

yeah it sucks if you can keep them under control or they get better then keep on it but i tried it for about 10 days and it stayed about the same and i couldnt focus in class and was always worrying when i was driving etc. didnt wanna have an accident ya know. So i just cut it off. Good luck with it hope it starts working out better for ya ;).

Thanks buddy---guess I will try a few more days but I train after work so will be taking it late hope I can make it. Husband said he did ok once he started eating every two hrs. then no more problems. I did do legs tonight and I was stronger than last time and now off the EQ so this must be doing something.
