Big Bad Kimbo Slice

i am trying to find some video so maybe you goons can help me but the kimbo slice fight verse james megapunk Thompson, from what i have read so far that kimbo who was this big up and comer (bascially becasuse he beat up regular dudes on the net for cash) was going to be walking through his oppenents and thompson basically took the fight to him and beat his ass pretty good, again i havnt seen the fight myself but it appears that kimbo may really be what we all thought a nice little side show to the sport to bring in more viewers, hell thompson isnt even that good, big dude for sure with some power but form all the fights i have seen his stamina and chin lack for sure..if anyone finds a link to the fight please post it up..thanks

Its on youtube, IP, and yeah it was a good brawl! Thompson was for sure going down, but he gave him a real good fight. Thompsons ear as wicked fucked up!
 
Kimbo was out of gas but has HEAVY HANDS. Thomson's ear was one of the nastiest
one's I have ever seen. Towards the end Kimbo smacked it and the commentators
were yelling " IT POPPED, IT POPPED!!!" and the blood was running out of his ear. It
was so nasty I didn't even want to look (and I love carnage). Thats when they
stopped the fight. Kimbo has no ground game but he is so strong he just rolled Thomson off of him at one point and Thomson had 20 lbs on him.
 
I didn't think they should have stopped the fight. Far to many guys don't want the surgery cause they think of it as a trophy. Next they will just be getting amputaions if they keep stopping fights over it. I wonder if a professional even needs an ear I'm guessing they only help serve for picking up directions of sounds

A lot of them dont want surgery until after their fighting career is over. I
think it should have gone on. He had a good chance cus Kimbo was
GASSED!! BUT, Kimbo is the BIG $$$$$ draw and Thomson isn't so this
insures a bigger payday for the next event for Kimbo and promoter.
 
him and Brock would be some kind of side show. Yeah, good 185 pounder could do
it if he avoided those heavy hands. Promoters probably were shiting when Kimbo
started loosing - they were probably already counting the $$ for his next fight.
 
The white dude wasnt that small either...but compared to the black dude he was
 
Kimbo has no business fighting MMA. He is a good striker but you seen what he looked like on the ground. It was embarissing to watch.

I cant bet money that Urijah Faber would beat Kimbo's ass and that is almost 100lbs weight difference
 
so why doesnt anyone talk about actually training kimbo?
if he can manage to simply survive in the ring in MMA pretty much untrained, what could he do if actually trained like these other guys?
 
Its hard to match these guys backrounds. Alot of them are Division 1 NCAA champion wrestlers. I forget who it was but he gave up training for the Olympics to fight MMA. I dont think people know how good these guys really are.

It will take more than a few years of training to match these backrounds.

He is being trained to fight MMA but these guys are the real deal. He should stick to boxing
 
contraversy with the kimbo thompson fight, after watching the fight its clear that xlite did all it could to help kimbo with a favorable outcome, it could have been stopped numerous times and at one point it even looked like kimbo panicked while in a guiletene choke

and drew kimbo has been being trained by a real training, bas rutten..bas is a bad mofo too..kimbo has only been really training mma for a year but when he was fighting nobodies in backyards for a few hundred dollars he was still training some mma in florida with team quest...i think kimbo is an assclown..they say his strikes are that of a young mike tyson in his prime then why couldnt he knock out thompson who is known to have a really shitty weak chin? i want to see kimbo lesner fight..both just starting but lesner would bring him down and GNP him to death..
 
Figures just release by CBS had 6.1 million viewers watched the final 20 minutes of the Kimbo-Thompson fight making it the most watched fight in MMA history.

With the inclusion of the final 51 minutes, the entire broadcast drew a 3.0 rating (4.85 million viewers). That number narrowly beats Spike's broadcast of UFC 75 which drew 4.7 million viewers to become the most watched MMA event in history. In the key demographics the program did a 3.2 in M18-34 and a 3.0 in M19-49. In the final 21 minutes the key demographics soared to a 4.1 in M18-34 and a 4.0 in M18-49, as well as a 4.3 in M25-54.

For some perspective, the NBA Playoffs on ABC are averaging 5.4 million viewers, while broadcasts on ESPN and TNT are averaging 4.1 and 3.8 million viewers respectively. Head to head with EliteXC, the NHL Stanley Cup Finals on NBC drew a 2.6 overall rating.
